It’s not Apple device… it’s iOS app that is the problem. You can sign up in a web browser on a Mac (or iPhone/iPad) and it will be just fine. Just not the app. Source… I am an iOS app developer. Apple always took their cut for any subscriptions made through iOS apps. Just that Patreon now started charging those fees to the user.
