season four, episode four: we now have fully activated tribrid hope mikaelson !! ⭐️ hope said that her humanity switched the second that sword went through landon, so it’s basically confirmation that she didn’t have a choice and it was out of her control. ⭐️ i’m of the belief that if hope was a fully activated tribrid when hayley died, she would’ve turned it off then and there because it would’ve been too much, maybe on instinct like it did with landon, or as a conscious choice that she wanted like caroline. ⭐️ if hope was a full tribrid during the last season of the originals, and she had turned her humanity off after hayley died, how do you think she’d react to klaus (and elijah) dying? or even yet, if she turned it off after klaus and elijah, how do you think legacies would’ve played out in that aspect?? ⭐️ do you think we’ll ever see landon again, or do you think he’s permanently gone? hell, do you think we’ll be able to get him back?

season four, episode five: we know from the originals that alaric had voluntarily offered for hope to go to the salvatore school, and that at the end of tvd, klaus gave them a lot of money as help. ⭐️ after watching this episode, and hearing ric being on the fence // vehemently turning down little miss hope mikaelson (who’s canonically just lost half of her family to an ancient spirit hellbent on torturing her at this point), does it make more sense for alaric’s character to be so against her, than it was to openly accept her? ⭐️ obviously, alaric hates klaus, and the mikaelsons, but do you think hope being around all that disdain, and constantly hearing her family be used as insults, was good for her? there’s even the big book about “Klaus Mikaelson: The Great Evil”, that we’ve seen in multiple episodes now, just in the library for students to read that paints klaus as this huge monster with no remorse for anything. at some point she was bound to break and use being his daughter out of spite. were you surprised that it just ended up happening to alaric, or did you see it coming?

Ep3: now that Hope is the full tribrid, how do you think her vampirism will effect her witch and werewolf side? We‘ve seen Hybrids and Heretics, but for the first time in history nature allowed the true mixing of Witch and Vampire. And since witches can generate magic through their conection to nature, with Hope being a Vampire, that conection is heightened. I think nature was able to break the rules and allow Hope to keep her magic because she was born with vampire magic in her blood, meaning since she is the loophole to malivore, she is the only person ever who was always meant to become immortal. So basically hopes vampirism/immortality is natural. For the first time in history vampirism has become a genetic trait, so nature can‘t strip you of a part of yourself for being something that nature needed you to be. And just thinking, a first born mikaelson witch, a descendant of the Hollow, a cresent werewolf and an Original Vampire all in one person, and her vampirism heightens her witch and werewolf powers too, and she was already considered the greatest witch off all time before, sooo whew💀😅

I’d just like to add Alaric did initially invite her in the originals season 4 but that was when he was giving the jaw bone to fight the hallow. After he returned to the school hope was possessed by the hallow and wrecked havoc on New Orleans and he got his first taste at how powerful and how much of a threat Hope COULD become. And then his hesitation came when Hayley can to him after season 4 of the originals.

Episode 3 Damn, what an emotional episode for both Alaric and Hope. Their dynamic is so interesting in my opinion because both of them love each other like family, but because they aren't actually family, both of them end up saying things or acting in ways towards each other that with their own family maybe they would hesitate to do so. Did you enjoy how their argument at the beginning ended up being talked about more calmly at the end? Would you agree that since becoming a father, Alaric sometimes acts out of fear of something bad happening to the people he cares about, and instead of worried, he ends up coming across as harsh or angry? Do you think Dorian crossed the line with his plan for the Merge? Do you think his approach was adequate, or maybe he should have waited to give his plan to Alaric when the time of the Merge actually comes?

Episode 4 After last episode's conversation between Alaric and Hope, it's kind of poetic that she turned into a vampire by drinking his blood that he willingly gave her. Also, I think this is the first time we have seen a vampire turn off their emotions literally after they turn. How do you think Hope is going to cope with her emotions if eventually she turns them back on? Normally a vampire would get accustomed to their heightened emotions in the days or weeks after they turn, but Hope didn't have this period of getting used to her new body and immediately gave it a "shock" by being emotionless. Could this factor influence her experience with the switch off as well as what awaits her if she turns it back on?

Episode 5 Fun fact: After rewatching all three shows multiple times, the actress that Hope fed on at the bar has appeared multiple times as an extra in the universe, so the girl is as immortal as Matt Donovan. Also, what a beautiful tribute to The Vampire Diaries in the scene with everyone outside the hospital! They used the same song and scenery with the candles and everybody together as when Alaric was dying before transitioning into a vampire. Were you surprised at how Ethan and MG's conversation about Lizzie ended up happening? As teenagers, you would expect them to be more reckless with their feelings and more selfish and jealous, which can turn a love triangle into a clear competition real fast. Instead, they chose the mature route and expressed their feelings without animosity towards each other. Are you glad the writers chose a different approach to a love triangle than what we have seen in this universe?

Episode 6 Do you think Alaric, Ted, and Landon deserve to go to peace? What do you think they will have to do in order to go there? Also, this concept of Limbo can scare some people off because we haven't actually seen this in the other shows, but both of them talked about peace and showed different forms of afterlife like the other side, the New Orleans ancestral realm, or literally hell, and by this point all of them are destroyed. What are your theories on its origins or about it in general? Did you doubt whether Lizzie would actually make that spell? What characters from the main cast would you say would make the choice to kill that other person if they were in her shoes?

4x3 (3x19) Of the cameos which were you most excited to see? And is there anyone you hope makes as an appearance before the end of the show? funfact kalebs actor from even before season one always wanted to be cast as a hybrid creature so this was the writers finally having a way to give that to him in the form of a vampire-dragon. He can fly with dragon wings breathe fire and has enhanced strength (more than a normal vamp his age) and due to the fire breathing likely an immmunity to death by fire unlike other vamps. Meaning death only to decapitation, heart removal, or wooden stake

Episode 4 Hi Harry! This is my first time leaving a question so hopefully it’s a good one. Since this is a TV Show and they can’t get all the Mikaelsons together to be there for Hope when she turns, hypothetically, if this was in real world, do you think the Mikaelson’s (like Rebekah, Kol, Marcel, Freya, Davina, Keelin and maybe even Vincent) would want Hope to come with them back to New Orleans, after she turns and defeats Malivore, so they can teach her about being a vampire and how to use her witch and werewolf abilities with her vampire side for some time and then send her back to Mystic Falls to go back to school or do you think they would wait for her to ask them for advice and help? Also, individually, what do you think that all of them would teach her specifically (you can throw in Klaus, Hayley, and Elijah if you want). Hopefully that was good 😅
