Ok it's not stupidity/woke bs. That's how I know not to take what you say about it seriously. Anyone using woke doesn't understand what it means. Ian has come out multiple times saying they wanted to gut Bonnie's character and get rid of Kat and he had to step in to get them to stop. Kat herself said she doesn't want anything to do with this world anymore because of what happened on this show. Plz they treated Bonnie's character less than her white counterpart. She's literally the magical negro trope. There's interviews that show the show runner doesn't like her and always has something to say. This fandom definitely has toxicity abundance but don't label what you don't like about this show as slander. When it comes to the girls of the story Bonnie gets the least of the amount of storylines, we see her life/interact less with. When it comes to romance, don't get me started. She is regarded as an afterthought. How can you blatantly ignore how they treat poc in this show. You want to take about their discriminations but you can't even have them portray the story. The white leads get more than she got

Sorry but I know precisely the meaning of the word woke what WAS the meaning of it in the past what this signify now. And you said that becuase? You could swear on it, in front of a judge? Where you there? Are you so quick to slander people non a base of ear and say? You see I am from another generation, I don't believe anything people say to be true, before checking and finding sure proof. Accusing someone of racism should never to be done so lightly and with such a carelessness. I never, and repeat NEVER EVER, talk about something without research it before. And apart some stupid articles and some excessively dumb or some cut and paste, youtube video done by random people that think they can read other mind, done with some nasty agenda, done by people that never meet any of the cast and before accusing of anything people, never cared to check if that is true or not. I haven't find any interview, on reputable paper or video interview where Ian said that, or any of the cast said that, but please be free to contradict me by publishing here below the link where he or anybody is saying that. Not even Kat Graham, in fact, ever said that. The only interview in which she talks about her character Bonnie and the creation of it, is the one done 2020 with RT TV to Dennis Miller, were she actually said quite the opposite, that she find there an environment she could talk about everything, even with Channel management, on how to revert the trend of how black actors where badly treated in Hollywood at that time and that Bonnie is very much the work of a collaboration between her and the writers and they did a pretty good job, her words, not mine, you can go and check it out. And what is she is saying is obvious, Bonnie character was given lots of drama, to show case the actor acting skills and from a very secondary character in the book, do you understand that Bonnie is a secondary character? And that Kat Graham before TVD was a nobody? On which base they should have giving her more just because she is black? She is not a protagonist, still, in the series, she become the centre of it, a hero, a much love character, she won the TV lottery with that role, do you realise that? And that didn't happen by chance, if they didn't like her they would have kept her very secondary character, giving her very little substantial screen time and storyline like they did with Matt character or Tyler or Steven. Did they mistreat Zach or Micheal or Steven? Are you going to protest for those characters being confined to a secondary storyline? No? Why? Are you prejudiced on a base of ethnicity? Please feel free to publish here any links where Kat Graham or any other person in the cast or that have been working on the show, says that Kat Graham has been mistreated. I don't want ear and say, I want the actual people talking. Please go ahead, I have done my research, it is time you do it too and realise the difference between reality and BS told out of sheer stupidity and ignorance. that has to make the black actor a victim at all cost, only because she is black, slandering people, the writers, for the only reason they are white. Ok, do not listen to ignoramus talking about the show on youtube. I am being serious here. Bonnie is not being treated badly as a character AT ALL, that is such a woke cancel BS that should be regarded as vicious slander. Seriously uneducated dimwit mistake the character with the actor and made up the story that isn't substantiated anywhere anytime by any of the cast members or by anybody that worked on the show, EVER!!! That Bonnie character has being mistreated because the actress is black is such a humongous BS. That makes me so mad. Someone woke up one morning and out of pure crass lack of knowledge, intelligence and education decided to start a rumour, and because there were no proof of it anywhere, made heavily edited videos, with written commentaries to describe what the people were supposed to think and feel according to their twisted mind, cutting and pasting pieces of interviews to substantiate this venomous narrative that Kat was mistreated. Like the one were you see Ian and his wife talking to an interviewer and Ian behind spacing out, and the title of the video is Ian is missing Nina, the genius that made the video can read people's mind....sure. Same thing with the Kat's videos. Nasty madness. First of all (here it comes the ignorance) when an actor has being given a lot of drama in the storyline, in which showcasing his/her acting abilities it is because the writers like the actor. Bonnie character in the books is a secondary character, a red headed white girl; so if they casted Kat Graham to portray Bonnie means they liked Kat, specifically, so much, to cast her, not because she is black but because she is a good actress that could do Bonnie like no other and that is a true color blind casting done on merit not on ethnicity. Not only, they liked her so much that gradually made Bonnie from a very secondary character (as she should have been), to one that is very central to the story, a much beloved character all over the world and that didn't happen by chance, she was wrote this way. Also, if somebody cared to look for facts, there is an unedited interview of Kat Graham talking about her work as Bonnie, being very much an active collaboration with the writers, to challenge the Hollywood trend at that time to mistreat black actors, and she said that, I repeat SHE SAID: "We (the writers and her) did a pretty good job". So this unsubstantiated rumour is even a disrespect for Kat Graham work on Bonnie. So Harry , please, do not buy into the stupidity of certain kids and the mentally problematics that out of shear ignorance started and propagate this slander. The show main theme is to make the viewer see what is different from what they know, with compassionate eyes, to overcome the culture of hatred, racism, homophobia, discriminations of all kind, theme, that among many other things, that those people are unable to get, they just don't see pass anything else but the love triangle and fabrication of mean stories about the actors private lives. Does it make sense to you that the writers while writing an anti discrimination show, are being racist with Kat? Never ever the writers show signs of racism in any of the shows they did, and never in any of the other show they did this issues was ever raised, so it is specific to this show, and is not the writers issue but the kind of viewers this show has, not about Bonnie because I don't see anybody complaining because the writers didn't gave Matt character a bigger storyline, do you? But Matt is white so who cares, right? This is just slandering people with no proof whatsoever anywhere from anybody, Kat included that actually said the opposite. Dear Harry this show unfortunately comes with lots of toxicity and major ignorance by total ( there is no other way to put it) utter morons that just open their mouth and are so confortable with slander people just on hear say. Do not make yourself an instrument to propagate pure defamation against people that are actually nothing like those malicious slanders would like them to be. If I was the writers I would take those people to court so they would have to explain to a judge where they got this idea from "oh I heard it from random videos made by some random people on youtube, people that never meet anybody from the show". The writers would make tons of money out of it. A lie repeated many times, on many videos on youtube, for people that doesn't care to check and take at face value whatever they hear became the truth, but it isn't. How much happy, are we to be told nasty lies and believe them without checking facts? Please Harry do not listen to nasty fools on Youtube, in general.

about rebekah entering the house without an invite, back at the end of szn 2 the house was signed over to elena as u know, but she did technically die in the sacrifice ritual; that then revoked her ownership over the house, so now anyone can enter the house again

From a psychological point of view- I think the vampires we saw toying with their hunt had a lot of suppressed guilt. If I get it right, I think it might come from trying to distinct themselves from those they hurt, make themselves the monsters they feel they are. For example- Isabel never got over betraying her husband, so shutting her feelings down included dismissing not just human life, but also relationships and romance. Stefan didn’t betray Elena in a romantic way, so his defence isn’t sexual. His betrayal was enjoying human blood, so he becomes the worst monster, feeds and kills as much young brunettes as he can find. At least that’s my take on it.

Okay I get that were upset about Bonnie's character being jealous. I agree that it does seem odd that someone like Bonnie was jealous of a ghost but then it's not just any ghost. As she said, those ghost have a intimate history with her current boyfriend and their connection is two way. Jeremy interacting with Anna is because he thinks about her. Now, of course many times it is beneficial for everyone because Anna is great help but looking at it from Bonnie's pov as a girlfriend, it is understandable because she knows that he would still love him and although from the outsider pov that would be totally understandable; I don't think she can help but feel insecure about the what if's about this whole situation because these two are still very much connected and see each other enough because they're thinking about each other. Imagine being with your partner sharing an intimate moment but also knowing that their thoughts occupied by another loved one. That's got to hurt. I'm not blaming Jeremy or Anna for their situation because unfortunately Anna was killed and these two were very in love. And now when they have presented with this opportunity again to be with each other even if one of them is a ghost; it still gives them joy and you can't really choose a side because at the end of the day you can justify Bonnie's pov and Jeremy/Anna too. Elena is just wow! Like Alaric the fact that she can get out of bed despite everything happening around her and with her; you have to give it to her. Her having hope for Stefan is absolutely something that I would expect from her because she doesn't give up on her people. She tries her hardest to be with them and although you know that it is hurting her, can't help but admire her strength. I was really happy seeing Alaric helping her out with learning a few tricks to help protect herself from vampires. I won't lie I find no humanity Stefan is insanely attractive! Yes he is bad and I don't recognise him many times because he is nothing like S1-S2 but this is definitely another side of him which we haven't been exposed to before but it is still him. Do I like him being the way he is being with Elena? No but I think bad Stefan is fun and Paul is just having the most fun. Tyler being giddy and happy with his transformation is again understandable because his emotions are heightened and he is feeling extra powerful. I won't say he is the old Tyler but he is different from S2 and that is not his fault at all. It will be explained further as to why he is liking this a little too much but it will make absolutes sense. However it is sad to think that he is sired to Klaus because that is no good for anyone.

Damon and Elena; I mean what do I say? They be raising the temperature in the gym scene! I don't know if you noticed but Elena is starting to allow herself feel the emotions slowly that being around Damon brings. She was lost for a good number of minutes when Damon was close to her and explaining where to find the vampire's heart. And look at the girl being confident about Damon's charm being able to distract Rebekah? I mean that kinda confidence has to be coming from experience😂I don't blame her the man is very charming. But then she is visibly jealous. Now I would like to point something out here. It isn't the first Elena has been jealous. In S2 when Andie approached Damon for the first; Elena had a certain look on her face back then too but it was subtle but this time it's clearly out there even for Stefan to point out. And I disagree; this has nothing to do with Stefan. Elena has admitted to Caroline earlier in this season that if she doesn't allow herself to admit that she is extremely attracted to Damon and that has been the case since S1. It's just that since Stefan has off away with Klaus, she has the time to focus a lot more with regards to her feelings for Damon. And she clearly doesn't like the idea of Damon not being attentive to her. I think the scene in the bathroom was another cute moment between these two. Both admitting that they were faking things just for the plan to work out and actually had eyes on each other was like wow! Did they really just admit to it? I think it could have been a lil more if only Ric didn't block them. But I love the slow burn progress.

Elena also acted jealously toward Damon in season 1 when she learned that the vampires were out of the tomb. She was concerned about all the loose vampires, roaming around in the town, but once Damon mentioned Katherine, Elena's demeanor changed to anger toward Damon.

Harry, PatPet is right about the toxicity among the fans. There was a reason why I asked you the question about whether the show was marketed to the wrong audience. When I first started reading those comments on YouTube, I noticed the disrespect some fans have toward Ian’s wife. Some fans even made comments about the acting skills of Ian, Paul, and Nina being horrible or annoying. The majority of those comments are full of hate. I believe that hate leads to a lack of objectivity of what is going on in TVD. Please, Harry, don't be swayed into that ocean of hate among some fans. I have been called on YouTube a nigger, stupid whore, among other things, with the comments have made over on that platform. I genuinely believe those fans are taking away the show's magic simply because they don't understand that TVD is not solely about shipping couples. You have great insight, which makes your reaction so refreshing to see. I love your kind heart and maturity in how you see things. I saw the video of Kat that PatPet is referring to, and it is clear that she doesn't agree with or condone such behavior from those fans.
