Were you expecting Katherine to return in the way she did? And were you able to figure out what Damon's plan was last episode when he took Stefan out for brother bonding?

Elena doesn't take a second to say 'Yes' to trusting Damon and when he is upset at the failure of their plan; she asks him to let go of Stefan? How do you feel about this? Do you think she is ready to let go of Stefan but doesn't want to lose Damon?
