I can never wait with your reactions, I always download the video because it's not processed yet ^^ This is probably my favourite episode of this season (although my favourite scenes are in other episodes) because it's just so wholesome and fun.

The YouTuber that Nick is watching is an actual YouTuber who does content on bisexuality. The videos in the show were recorded for the show specifically, but he and his videos do really exist. He is actually doing reactions to the show and it’s about to get very meta when he does this episode. He was specifically requested for the show by Alice Osman

In episode 1 after he dumps Ben, Tori asks Charlie what his dream boy would be like, and he answers "someone that likes being with me". It makes it even more adorable in this one when Nick says he wanted to go to the concert because "I just... like being with you"

I think another big aspect regarding Charlie's reluctance to tell Tao is that there's no way to do it without simultaneously outing Nick. We found out in the first couple of episodes that Charlie has a fair amount of trauma relating to being outed against his will, and that would understandably make him petrified to inflict that on someone he cares about as deeply as Nick. Realistically he could ask Nick for permission to tell Tao, but we've already been shown several times that Charlie is very anxious about the idea of Nick feeling pressured to come out just for Charlie's sake. As you identified yourself, Charlie hasn't personally told *anyone* about him and Nick at this point, even denying it to Tori who clearly already knows. To that point, I'm pretty sure the second half of the sentence from that scene would have been: "Even if we were together... it's none of your business."

I love that Alice Oseman did like a quick twitter question about what movies made people feel like they were extra bi and a lot of people answered with Pirates of the Caribbean so that's why that was the movie they watched

Its also a subtle parallel to their journeys as couples over the course of the series - Tara & Darcy out in front, holding hands from the start. Followed by Charlie & Nick, initially separate then getting closer until they join hands halfway through the shot onwards. And finally Elle trying to get Tao to catch up, but him not reaching her before the end of the shot

I'm so glad I've finally found a reactor who appreciates the acting ability in this series and comments on it. They are all amazing for such a young age, but especially Kit Connor. It's good you bring up how good he is. He doesn't have to speak to tell us exactly how he's feeling. Thank you for that appreciation.

Regarding Charlie not telling Tao actually he hasn't told anyone because he is being the best boyfriend ever by keeping his mouth shut and letting nick dictate who gets told and when. Nick told Tara and Darcy and nick told Elle because they have been welcoming to him. is it any wonder that nick hasn't told Tao because Tao has made it quite clear that he can't stand nick and if anyone is going to give nick a negative reaction its Tao so it's not surprising that he hasnt told him yet. No matter how much Charlie may want to tell Tao he won't because it's not his journey to tell. Charlie is just the best.
