What did you think of Damon and Elena's hot and sexy dance? Do you think Damon's response to Bonnie about being a vampire was a good response and it's about time people start accepting the truth?

We see Elena learn how to feed and make it fun. She's able to fully divulge into her vampirism. What do you think about human Elena being more suited towards Stefan and vampire Elena more suited for Damon? Because of Stefan's ripper side, him and and Elena could not have those feeding experiences together. I also don't think Stefan would want to feed on innocent people, even if it's just for fun. By being with Stefan, do you think Elena could be held back from exploring her vampirism to the fullest?

Sorry to disagree but I don't think that human Elena was more suited to Stefan, Stefan was just a circumstance that happen, that made Elena feel in love with Stefan that was there at the perfect time and she fell in love with him because Damon compelled her to go an get what she wanted and that set her in motion, Stefan happen to be there. If Damon didn't compelled her to forget that they met first, she would have gone for Damon and she wouldn't have look at Stefan twice. Elena, even as human and Stefan have very little in common, she never seen a future with him in it. And to reinforce the concept the writers, after she said to Damon "perhaps if we met first..." show us the scene that they actually met first, scene that scream that she made the wrong choice, at that time (but she didn't know) and now. The parallel made also in episode 3x22 with Matt, are also very clear in regard of what she wants. Her becoming a vampire, amplify ONLY what she already knows and wants, the difference is that as human, you can pretend and ignore your wants until you are faced with it by life happening, as a vampire life is happening right now, she is force now to confront her true inner self that is screaming to be acknowledge because your sense are on a hyper drive, your personality traits are amplified but they are YOUR feeling, YOUR personal traits, that eventually in normal life would have come out by growing up. Vampirism make things happening with a speedy process, you don't change into someone that is completely different from you. Caroline is the same, a control freak that can't keep a secret and very sex driven, she just passed from insecure to self confident also self aware of her lackings, making peace with them, that is something that as an adult she would have eventually reach. Her becoming a vampire made everything happening much faster.

PatPet, I concord. I wrote a comment that taps into Elena's personality for the previous episode. Yes, Elena is a compassionate young lady, but she is much more than that. If she were only compassionate, that would make her character one dimension aspect, and TVD characters are not written in that manner.
