Loved the finale I just wish, like the whole season, it was a lil longer but I will take what I get! Can't wait for S2 now that Percy is a BEAST with these powers

Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

Me as a percy jackson book fan loved the show and one of my big gripes with the show is that it just needed to be longer because I loved it so much. I think the runtime for the show was shorter because it was something Disney+ was testing out it was like a test season. Now that this show is literally one of the most popular on disney+ they now probably are gonna give it a longer runtime. I have a feeling though that the next season is gonna have a similar runtime only because the second book is kindve short. I might be wrong thought because they have added scenes before. It's really the 3rd-5th book where the books get even more complex and longer. Also in the book in the first book we only met Poseidon, Zeus, Hades, and Ares and we don't meet the other gods and goddesses. The author actually decided to add more gods in the show then in the book because in the book we didn't even get to meet Hephaestus or Hermes in the book so yeah. As for the show goes, its similar to harry potter in a sense that it gets really dark and becomes really emotional and deep so at a certain point they are probably going to have to up the age rating on Percy Jackson because he also gets darker so yeah it is similar in the sense that the audience grows with the book characters.

Until now they thought that Alecto was after them for the bolt actually

I'm gonna explain the blue pancake thing. Also in the first episode she gave him like blue jelly beans or something and he used them later to burn to try to talk to her. In the books, she and his stepdad got into an argument or something where he said blue food doesn't exist? So since then she has been petty and has made pretty much every food for Percy blue. The stepdad was also a lot worse and abusive in the books, so her making the food blue was one of the few ways she could fight back. Percy also uses it as a way to honor her while she is in Hades, by drinking or eating blue foods

Kronos did eat his own children. He swallowed them all whole as babies and they continued to grow inside him. When Zeus was born, his mom gave Kronos a rock swaddled and Kronos ate that instead, and Zeus was able to grow up outside of Kronos and come back later to kill him

I will say as far as Luke and his intentions, he really didn't intend for Percy to die if he had been dragged into Tartarus. Percy is an extremely powerful demigod. Kronos would want to try to turn him to his side before he tried killing him. That's why he was visiting Percy's dreams. When Luke saw that Percy also held the same resentment he did at the beginning of the show, he figured he'd be a good ally to the cause. Even when he was standing over Percy at the end, you could see in his eyes that he felt conflicted about actually going through with it because he truly did care for Percy this entire time. His kindness to Percy was never fake. Through his entire last scene he just looked desperate for Percy to side with him because the alternative was Kronos wanting him dead, even if Luke didn't want to do it himself. I do agree, though. Even manipulated, he did make his choice. He's just meant to be a very complex antagonist.
