The Mikaelsons really have come so far from s3 of TVD and it’s all down to Hope really. If you think about it, in s1, the rift between Rebekah and Klaus is repaired when he asks Rebekah to take care of Hope. Again, at the start of s3, Elijah only returns to the compound for Hope’s sake and that eventually led to his reconciliation with Klaus. That little girl healed a century’s worth of heartache simply by existing.

I think what Rebekah meant was that Elijah putting her down means that she has officially fallen by family so then that part of the prophecy would be over and everyone can trust each other fully.

I do wish that we could get more of Rebekah, but this is what I meant in past episodes when I said they did well writing her character in for just an episode or so at a time. Her returning never feels shoehorned it, it just always works

Also yeah that ending. Tbh I am kinda glad you have to wait to watch it since you have to film it, because now you get to experience what we felt watching this show as it was airing lol
