"She can't comprehend the scale of it all. Eternal blackness. No more sunsets. No more gumblejacks. Never more a butterfly.", The Sixth Doctor, "The Two Doctors" Ok, his theory was wrong and this quote doesn't lead anywhere, but it's a good 6th Doctor quote. "I seem to remember I was always very fond of Jamie.", The Sixth Doctor, "The Two Doctors" You and me (and Jess), Doctor! "Now my Doctor wouldna have done that.", "Your Doctor is an antediluvian fogey. Allowing himself to be captured by the Sontarans. If anything happens to myself as a result of it I will never forgive himself.", Jamie and the Sixth Doctor, "The Two Doctors" "Mind how you go, Jamie. This ladder seems a ... ow!", "A wee bit rickety.", The Sixth Doctor and Jamie, "The Two Doctors" I like the interactions in this episode between Jamie and the Sixth Doctor as well. "There was a battle. The knights came and killed everyone. ... They had a sort of armour. Heavy with no necks. And their hands were just two great fingers. They killed everyone.", Jamie, "The Two Doctors" It's nice that Jamie puts what he saw into his own terms - a callback to his Phantom Piper from "The Moonbase" perhaps? And possibly a reference to the medieval setting in "The Time Warrior"? "Where are we going?", "Can't quite remember. Something to do with getting my hair cut.", Peri and the Doctor, "The Two Doctors" Ooh, a high culture joke - (The Barber of Seville). "Does this have a name, Chessene?", "The Doña Arana knows it as rat.", ..., "Oh, the flesh is rank. Smoke-dried it might just be tolerable.", Shockeye and Chessene, "The Two Doctors" Ok, we dislike Shockeye - but I do like when actors go over-the-top when playing Who villians. "Now, there cannot be a creature on the planet that humans do not kill and eat. Many beasts are bred especially for table.", Shockeye, "The Two Doctors" Bob Holmes was a vegetarian and Nicola says that, inspired by this story, she became one as well. "Well, then, like a star on my dressing room door it becomes conspicuous by its absence.", Oscar, "The Two Doctors" And I should mention again that the location shooting was so, SO HOT! Carmen, playing Anita, is wearing a light summer dress - we will see her originally planned costume next time. And Colin is without his jacket. I was worried about Frazer in his heavy outfit. "Well, of course, it may not be your department. I can see from your raiment that you obviously belong to the plain clothes branch.", Oscar, "The Two Doctors"

They are taking their sweet time with having Two and Six interact with each other. Though you say it is what you were hoping for, it does prove interesting seeing the parallel plotlines that each Doctor has. Sort of hope that in the future, if we have multi-Doctor stories, we can have them spread out over a few episodes to kind of do this again. The plotlines are all converging. Jamie does provide a neat example of yeah, what happens when a companion meets a future Doctor and how do they initially respond, and it is done very well here. Fun moment with Jamie commenting how he thinks Six is worse than Two. Which, well, he is, but that’s neither here nor there. Quite liked your response to that one. Loved seeing your love for Jamie again. Had a laugh when Peri accused Six of killing Jamie. You say, “He would NEVER.” in answer to the idea of the Doctor killing Jamie. I don’t know, he did very nearly choke the life out of Peri before coming to his senses. Did he not? Shockeye is getting on your last nerve, big shock. Yes, it has been fun sharing this story with you, Jess. Look forward to seeing the conclusion with you next week.
