Quite the episode. It is a jolt seeing Lucifer back on the surface, and when he gets the idea for the episode. Leads to your question of will Lucifer get groupies, I believe he already has plenty of groupies to begin with, but yeah, he’s trying to cultivate more. The boys working with Crowley and Castiel was a highlight as usual. Crowley said that he knew a guy, first thought is, “Please, God, tell me it’s not Weinstein.” It wasn’t, thank God, and I loved his scenes with his longstanding client. Concerning the burning hot take, yeah, a man wants a woman to carve his name into her chest, probably that’s not a man who’s worth it. Your reaction to that was about what I expected it would be as that was just a horrid scene. Love the tag team of everyone trying to take old Lucy down. Great that Castiel remains committed to his “assbutt” line. Good on Tommy for helping Castiel out, though sadly it costs him his life. Liked how you called that he would help. Culminating in Lucy’s big villainous speech that Rick sold very well. I get what you mean of how you appreciated how this episode kept Lucy in the rather terrifying camp for this episode. Hell of a thing where he says he really has no plan and just plans to burn as much shit as possible. Once he gets a new vessel, that is, seeing as Vince went the way of drinking the false grail. And it caps off with Sam’s big speech of how he doesn’t consider it a win as Vince is dead, and others such as Tommy died. As he says, they’re not winning, just losing slow. Loved your reaction and words about that in this one. The speech got me something pretty good. Other highlights. Nice that Dean and Mary are playing Words with Friends. Complete with the gag of Mary taking Dean to the cleaners on that. I mean, I never played it myself, but it looks like electronic scrabble, so, yeah, Mary would be damn good at that. The gag of Sam listening to Vince’s music on his ipod, then cranking it up for Dean after he asked for it. Love your encouragement of Sam to love what he loves, and that the scene gave you a good laugh. And doesn’t Dean have the tapes with his music? This is the ideal travel situation as I can’t drive. Whoever is driving can listen to what they want on the radio or their cds, I have my ipod if I so desire to listen to what I want, it’s a win-win situation. So, what’s Dean complaining about? It is also most amusing of the running gag with the vegetable water, and again, your reactions to that were a hoot. Solid episode, with now a terrific reaction, Jess, thanks.
