Colin Baker may have had a lot of fun, but there were also some frustrating aspects for him as he couldn't get an answer on what was going on which the Doctor supposedly joining the villains (as there were a few possibilities including that we were seeking a fake version of what happened). That meant he wasn't sure how to play it so he ended up doing so as if we were witnessing a lie. I was always going to be interesting to see what happened with your reaction to Peri's death, and in fact having just joined your patreon, your reaction to Timelash and your concern for her there is very recent for me. You clearly didn't expect them to go through with it until they removed the Doctor out of the story and revealed that yes, they did. You were right to be concerned at her absence from the trial scenes after all.

This was amazing to watch with you, I knew I'd be emotional and I haven't been drinking for a change. This season aired when I was 8 years old, and I felt disappointed and bored with the trial. But this story imparticular became a favorite on a rewatch years later, and your reaction as always just took it too a whole new level. I look forward to you enhancing more special memories of this show I have, I'm gonna struggle when Classic Who is finished.
