Now that’s out the way on to the seventh Doctor era proper 😅 It’s very hit and miss but again based on what was going on behind the scenes it’s a miracle this is as coherent as it is.

Idk, I like the next story, but the two after that are back to similar levels of quality seen here. I'd argue the 7th Doctor era doesn't properly kick off until the beginning of next season.

Thanks for another great reaction. You're very good to us fitting so much into your recording schedule! Yes, was a very unexpected turn of events that 6 becomes 7 in the blink of an eye, I think it took a lot of fans by surprise at the time. I think they made an excellent choice with Kate O Mara, she was an iconic actor who had been in many things. I caught an interview with her last week, conducted much later in her life which had been posted on Youtube. She mentioned she'd acted in Dynasty & although I'd never have guessed before I heard her mention it, I worked out who she must have played & on checking I was spot on, so I guess part of me remembered! This story was not really in my top tier of best Classic Who stories but I did like the spinning bubble effect, I thought they did that particularly well. Also, backed up by a great cast it was a lot better than it perhaps could have been otherwise. See you next time!
