Yeah, Celia is definitely mind controlled that or her brain cells is frying one by one. She is making all kind of excuse for trusting Zenith way to much and way to quickly she is going to take over soon and Celia would'nt even see it coming.

Ah, poor Celia, she led better than most. Honestly, she'd probably enjoy being released of the burden of leadership and being tasked to command an army from the front if her earlier characterization is anything to go off of. I dont imagine War would throw away a champion asset like her when its highly unlikely she'd go the rebel guerilla route as long as War doesn't go all in on the war crimes.

If i remember correctly then brainwashing of previous leader is a mandatory part of goddes usurping throne. You will not retain previous one. So you will choose what better for you game old leader with high level or new one much stronger but low level.

Ahh damn was hopeful that Cecilia was just playing as best as she could and that her trusting the Sigil was just actual good sense since her reasoning for empowering Zenith still makes sense but if Jack thinks she's going to be upsurped than that's practically WoG. Dice sure haven't been kind to Vampires even if they didn't have her crit fail all rolls and beg for sex like previous Seg Vamps

Man before this volume I really thought Celia might take a turn and step up, not enough to match Jack but to at least be able to say she got the nation through the crisis. But nope, it's basically guaranteed to go to Zenith, gonna be interesting to see how that chapter goes
