as we know, werewolves heal slower than vampires, so it’s possible that hayley died from getting her throat slit bc of it not healing as fast as vampires.

Great finale. Love how they made it even more dramatic by cutting off Damon with the screen going white! Lexi is the best friend ever and I'm glad Elena at least has Ric to help her get through this. Werewolves have a healing factor that allows them to recover from injuries more quickly than humans, similar to vampires, but it's less effective for severe wounds and doesn't make them immune to fatal injuries like a broken neck. Their healing is also slower than vampires. Since Hayley was killed when her throat was slit and not just injured, she couldn't heal as a werewolf.

Tyler's body had reversed from a hybrid to a werewolf to a human with a werewolf gene when he died. Remember Elena told Damon in the car to hurry because they had to die as vampire.

Damon could’ve came back if Elena never got in that car, she wasted a pass through. It always irritated me, we could’ve had Lexi or Damon take her place.
