Update: I was definitely playing the first 6 notes more slowly and then rushing the rest of the lick. Practicing that section only has helped. Let me know if I am still rushing or any thing else please. I am taking my time and currently at 105 bpm. I play it for 5 minutes 2-3 times a day. Hey John, it seems like it’s coming along well. In my own humble opinion, It might be worth slowing down and making sure you emphasize each note so you can synchronize your hands properly. If you slow down the video a bit, you can hear that the first few repetitions have a few missed notes or ones that overlap. Seems like the problem is synchronization, which may or may not be tied to a speed issue.
