While recovering from dental surgery I made myself useful and edited every chapter so far of All the Way, book two of When You Fell from Heaven. These are I guess release candidate chapters now, so if you read them and happen to spot any typos, continuity errors, etc., please let me know :)

I fixed a couple of fairly substantial continuity errors already, which were in there because I am, sadly, quite stupid.

These are quick-and-dirty exports and don’t represent what the final formatting of the book will be, though I’m messing with my export templates, so they ought to be close.

Still writing chapter 24. It will be done when it’s done!

Genevieve R

a good excuse to reread :)

Emory Ahlberg

oh noooo, now I need to read it again

Lucy Severine

Ah, writers. Chronically incapable of taking actual breaks 🥲

Catherine Cowie

On page 16 (as numbered) there’s some really awkward justification (you could try putting in a dash or a space in ‘JuniorYear’ I suppose)

Ah thanks, that's something that will resolve naturally when I do the real book formatting, though—right now I'm not making any formatting-specific changes so I can keep copy-pasting updates between formats

Jane the Inscrutable

Spotted a Britishism: we don't say "expiry date" we say "expiration date" Second Paragraph of chapter 15

Viv

On page 22, "You want we should talk to a doctor about this" has some extra words :)

Cargie

There is a small Britishism on page 167: Taylor says "thats not something you just say if you're just holidaying in the Land of Women, Willa!" .. an American would say "That's not something you would say if you're just visiting the Land of Women" or "on vacation in the land of women"

Rose Melody

Typo in chapter 20: "Oh, shoot. Maxine’s looking all messed up suddenly. Did Mom just bum out?"

Gab

I just subscribed specifically to read this so I feel very fortunate to see it here all together like this right away. Thanks for all you do, Alyson :)

Benna Mina

In chapter 23 you use the term "make-work" which I'm pretty sure is a Britishism because I've lived in the US my whole life and it's always been "busy work". I just got caught up so sorry if this tip is a bit late.

Catherine Cowie

Page 219 (as numbered), line 21, “Clay watches awkwardly. Worring that Mom’s” — should be worrying.
