hello everyone, I'm working on improving stability, uncached full files will take a while to load and imports are a bit backlogged both due to bandwidth. Thank you.

Thanks for mentioning everything. I can understand that in the modern day, marketing and getting noticed is a real pain since almost every market seems to be oversaturated. That software to make downloads more automated seems like a great idea, although yeah, that cost is kind of crazy. That will take majority of what you're getting here on Patreon. One thing I am curious about. If Patreon Library becomes available to public, will it at least have some sort of cost per track or will it be entirely free for anyone to use? The reason I am asking is because stuff which is completely free ends up being used a lot (and used badly too) and then it can feel discouraging to use it since it's appeared so much in other media. But otherwise, yeah, if I had to choose between exclusivity and access to more tracks, I'd likely go for the second one, since I already use non-exclusive music by other musicians, and if I do want something entirely exclusive, then I just commission it. I can totally understand though that it is very time-consuming having all your music in different places and needing to make new tracks for each new outlet, so I think your idea of combining it all into one library so to say can make things a lot easier for both you and customers. In either case, whichever direction you go, I am sure it will be good. :) (Btw, I sent an email to you requesting a few tracks from the last update about a week ago. Just thought I'd mention it in case you missed it. Cheers).

Also, regarding the cost of running that software, yeah it's nuts... but I hope I'd be able to get some more people interested so it becomes worthwhile. Honestly, the more people I can shift from buying through other sources and direct to me, the better off I am. If it turned out to be a huge disaster I could always cancel it and go back to the previous state of the Patron Library, even offering the rest of my catalog that way. We'll see what happens if/when I go through with all this.

Regarding your email, I got that and replied to it on the 15th, I was actually wondering why you hadn't replied back since I had a few questions in it. Ah, the internet. If the Pateron Library merges with the rest of my catalog, it would be priced similarly to everything else for non-Patrons. For you guys, it would remain '1 download token per track' as would all the rest of it. So the general public would still pay full price for everything. I'd definitely not be making it free for anyone. What I might do is take some thematic tracks, like the Air Pirates ones, and make a whole pack out of them that eventually is sold through other venues like Degica's Steam packs for RPGMaker. On anything like that, Patrons would get earlier access and better (full) prices than anything that ends up elsewhere.

You're right. Looks like I missed it among all the messages and spam in my mailbox. Whoops. My mistake! :O Not sure how I missed it since I checked my mailbox of the last few days at least a few times. Well, thank you for re-sending them either way. I think the proposed changes sound good. I certainly don't mind if Patreon Library tracks become available for sale on other storefronts/outlets. I understand that with only 11 patrons, it might not feel productive to make tracks for the patreon library when there is a potential to do so much more with them. :) Situations need to evolve sometimes depending on circumstances, so I am sure with the new planned changes, things will turn out for the better for everyone. Apologies again for missing your reply. That doesn't usually happen.

Not a problem. I mean, ideally what happens is... 1. I pick up more Patrons here 2. Everything I compose that's not custom/exclusive goes up here first 3. Patrons get better deals, more selection, and all the extra bonus stuff 4. We all live happily ever after Patrons will definitely come out ahead in all of this, either way. I really want to have a larger community of people here. Patreon is a perfect vehicle for creators to interact with the people who like/use their work.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this matter, and especially for being considerate enough to ask how we feel about it. You make a good point and personally I support your suggestion. By becoming your patreon, the main reason is to support your work, just like a charity. I'm excited to hear more about this in the future. I have to admit though, it sounds very expensive. You might want to consider other options too.

Everything on my end of the music business is expensive, it's kind of insane. It is entirely possible to produce passable-to-good sounding music on a small budget... far more so now than when I started out. If you intend to fit in with the top quality music getting placed in TV, trailers, film, then things ramp up to absurd expense. The earning potential also increases dramatically, but so does competition and risk. It can be a bit like high stakes gambling, though at least luck isn't the only factor in determining the odds. I should make some videos on these topics, even if YouTube is overflowing with them already. I definitely appreciate the support and everyone sticking around here. I'll keep on trying to make it worth your while!
