This week you got to see the latest improvements to the battle system with some dragon ground fighting and physics mayhem. Even in this early state it's pretty fun to wade through heaps of units and throw fire at anyone in range, but there's still a lot left to do. The units can't actually attack dragons yet so there isn't much of a challenge even when you are surrounded, and there are no ranged units or anti-dragon weapons to watch out for. You don't have much control as a commander yet either, other than ordering them to charge.
Still, it's approaching something that works well enough to put in the early access for people to try out. It needs at least units that can hit back, and probably some ranged units too for it to be more of a challenge, and some general visual/simulation improvements. It's possible we'll have something good enough to include in the next version by the time it releases! The date for it is still to be decided, I don't want to give an exact date until the dragon creator is mostly ready because that is the main bottleneck. You may see some progress on that next week!
