Is there a reason for him to reject her if he sees them both going beyond the scope of the strongest people in that area? Other than the old bastard who plans to use him as a pawn for his daughter since he killed off the original mc that is? If he rejects every girl that comes up to him, it's going to get old fast. There's honestly little to no point to have any side characters if he just rejects them all the moment they appear to show any interest in him.

He's a young guy right now there's plenty of time for him to figure out romance. If anything the women are being creepy and shameless, not Rou Lin as she's in his age bracket right? But the others like Zi Mo and the Qin woman need to step off. As for MC, he doesn't need to marry someone if that's a worry for him, as long as he's upfront I doubt it will be a huge issue.
