I'm with Zi Mo here. If you have a chance to pursue immortality, no matter how small, and you ignore it, that's nothing but passive suicide. Pathetic as shit. And mortal life is basically meaningless if it doesn't bring even the slightest change. If the impact of your entire life on the world is no greater than that of a roadside boulder, then your worth is about the same. Exceptions are praiseworthy, but extremely rare. The only thing I agree with Li Yuan on is that "wrong is wrong." But even there, the only real judge is yourself, not any law or the opinion of bystanders.

I mean he could just have a decent intelligence network or 'friend' that informed him that an infamous Prince was coming... but yeah it makes sense for Zi Mo to think he's got a similar ability to her own. I think that's the most overtly gross YM archetype I've seen though, they usually don't say the quiet part out loud like that. Looks like Li Yuan is memorizing his future target. That piece of shit has got to go.
