Felix has portrayed himself as the beast in Beauty and the Beast. And in the song he talks about Gaston as well asBelle. And of course the rose is the symbol of Hope from the story. As long as the rose held petals the beast would live.

He did say Beauty & the Beast inspired him but that he also put elements in there that he thought we could relate to and his own feelings too he said. Honestly the lines "Please give me a break right now/ I wanna just be myself /no one can truly see the human inside me" & "hope you can see the human inside me" gave me vibes about everyone seeing him as this perfect angel/idol. I especially think this because some silly tiktoks or even captions for his insta photos there's a fair amount of people who are like "felix did you mean to keep this in drafts" or other things like that. And it just makes me so sad because I truly love his type of humor.
