My wife and I have been going through all of the K Dramas on Netflix. We really loved pointing out all of the tropes in KPDH like the group of female friends who go to town on an incredible spread of food. The best moment for us was the first meeting of Rumi and Jinu when the romantic theme from the K Drama “Business Proposal” hits and everything is in slow motion. Jinu is actually voiced by the male protagonist from that show, so when Jinu let Rumi fall on her ass we lost our minds.

Matt, there is a manga called Maid 2 Skate. In this world it’s canonical that, in this Miyazaki like European style town, all maids can totally shred. The panels are real fun with great action shots and all the maids are charming…they also wear skate shoes with their maid outfits.

My guess is the sequel will be a prequel and will cover Rumi's mother's story/love story, demon love etc

I used to dismiss "The power of love" endings, but years ago, after watching through Vision of Escaflowne, I embraced that I'm a complete sucker for one. KPDH scratches that itch very well.

Ridiculously late to the party, but over the past few weeks I finally got around to watching both seasons of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya + the movie, and loved listening to y’all chat about it after every few episodes. I even dug The Endless Eight, but by that point it might’ve been the Stockholm Syndrome talking. Thanks for everything y’all do, including putting shows this like this on my radar.

The most unrealistic thing in this movie about a group of pop stars harnessing their legion of fans to keep demons at bay is the thought of any group topping TWICE on the KPop charts

Hello! I love one piece, watched so many episodes of one piece, but I got bored a little after episode 900, I’ve recently dove right back in full manga, they’re both so good and so worth it to be into, it gets better and better all the way through, and I’d like to hear more specifically about what arc you’d be around for the updates, also, check out gintama, just a little, it’s got 200 plus episodes but you don’t need to go hard, you’ll want to binge it when they buckle up for an arc, super silly and fun, peace

One detail that I really liked is that Rumi still has the patterns at the end. Her plan to remove them with the Honmoon didn't work but she's okay! Nice.

Thought this movie was fine, especially considering I don’t like the music or industry surrounding K-Pop, but I’m not quite sure why it seems to have been so universally praised.

We took my daughter to go see the sing along in theaters and it was a complete packed house. All the kids were going nuts the entire movie, but the plant scene with the tiger killed in particular. One of the audience members was laughing as though it was the funniest thing they have ever seen. It was a good time all around.
