A time travel action movie with Bruce - yes please! This one really surprised me, the story was really cool, great (but subtle, not outrageous) effects, great cast! I really enjoyed this one! Let me know what you guys think

Ooh I’m looking forward to checking this one out. I love time travel movies and anything with Bruce Willis in it is always great.

should check out BRICK… his neo-noir thriller that takes place at a high shcool. It’s fun and cool and absurd in the best ways. Great watch.

Mastervodo

Brick doesn't get the attention it deserves. It's like a Noir gumshoe detective movie, and really well done.

Matt

Oooo great film, thanks for the reaction Jen cant wait to watch this later

Matt

Another great modern sifi you should definitely check out "Children Of Men" its a masterpiece imo

ill never trusted ryan johnson and i never will. ive never been able to forgive him for killing my star wars

Matt

I dont think he ruined Star Wars Disney or more specifically Kathleen Kennedy ruined it, but he was the director so all the blame got put on him, other than star wars all of his work is fantastic Brick, Looper, Knives Out, Glass Onion, Poker Face

I never trust anybody that says that Rian Johnson killed Star Wars. JJ Abrams killed Star Wars, especially with that garbage episode 9. Rian Johnson is the only one that had the guts to do anything interesting with the sequel trilogy and people couldn’t handle it and Disney freaked out and fell back on their nostalgia cash-in to devastating effect.

Man I love this movie, but it has been so long since I’ve seen it that I had forgotten exactly how it ended, so it was fun to watch again. Rian Johnson is most known for this, Knives Out (and Glass Onion), and Star Wars The Last Jedi. But he also directed a lot of TV, especially a lot of Breaking Bad episodes, including the excellent Ozymandias, arguably one of the greatest episodes of television ever created.

Matt

"Time Bandits" 1981 is a great and fun time travel film you should check out

Mastervodo

With Kiera Knightly as Cable!

people keep saying that. it had a cool fight with vader at the end. the rest of it is bland crap.

rubberkidney

he didnt do anything intereting with it. sure force awakens sucked balls but johnson came in and cranked the retardation to 11. dont worry joke joke doesnt get off with me either

Tony Bain

Disagree. Kathleen Kennedy played her part but I've see enough interviews to know Rian Johnson was fine with it. Mark Hamill interviews also confirmed that. That doesn't mean i don't think he's a good director, he is.

Damn, now in gonna end up look at MK1 MX-5's on eBay all night, again. Watch 3rd Rock From the Sun for more Joseph Gordon!

It's safe to assume the kid does learn to control his TK in the future because, in the other timeline, that's how he got control of ALL the gangs without an army behind him. So, now he doesn't grow up with that anger and has his mother's love and protection. So, he will control his power and, with his current situation, has a mother who would die for him and having ALL that money AND no more syndicate, he has the best chance of being the best version of himself. I love this movie.

All of Rian Johnson's work is excellent and worth watching. (Yes, even The Last Jedi, the only SW sequel era movie worth a damn.) He's best known for his Benoit Blanc films, but his early films (Brick and The Brothers Bloom) are equally good. Since no else has mentioned this, I get to: FUN FACT: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Noah Segan are in all his films. In the later Johnson movies, JGL is usually playing a voice role, but Segan appears in all of them. He's Kid Blue here. Once you know what he looks like, he's easy to spot in the others.
