Yeah, as much as I enjoy quite a few of these other shows, Mr Sunshine is in a league of its own so it's hard to compare. It has such an important spot in Korean culture, history, entertainment and more.

you don't need to get aggressive. i just don't want to spend money on something i won't be benefiting from. it's not a bad thing. i'll just wait until they finish up the few dramas they're watching and check back in a month or 2.

Anything but Legend of the blue sea. 🤣😂 That show was so cheesy, it does not hold up to time well at all. Just remembering all the annoyance of Strong Girl, you guys will be doing a lot of eye rolling. 😂 That might be fun to watch though.🤣😂

I think out of all of these you guys will enjoy Reply 1988 the most since you enjoyed twenty five twenty one and this one is also a realistic show. Also Mr. Sunshine is AMAZING since it portrays a very important part of Korean history :)

Reply 1988 is quality. Goblin is alright... Mouse is Phenomenal and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is a classic. You can't go wrong with any of these recommendations.

I am japanese and I don't know if my translation is correct. Reply 1988 is so touching. Because the democratic movement of Korea and the era at that time are also revealed and so deeply family love. I believe you guys very enjoy this drama. It is considered a very excellent work in Korea, and the number of views per YouTube video is amazing. ps. 'I Can Hear Your Voice' is best Kdrama ever. that I always watch every summer(*´꒳`*) It's the same writer 'While You Were Sleeping' and 'Start Up'

This comment is for people who don’t know the shows in the pool/have never watched them. I know all of them but have only watched 3. Mr. Sunshine is a historical drama with a more serious/dramatic tone to it; the cast is fantastic. Reply 1988 is more like a slice of life show, with very nostalgic feeling/mood; is part of a series of shows that have similar vibe; the cast is great and Hye-ri is so Charming! My Mister is the one in the list I know less about, but I can tell is heart wrenching, IU and Lee Sun Kyung probably made so many people cry, gives sad story you don’t know if you cry or laugh vibes. Goblin is a legend, literally and figuratively, it’s a fantasy show that became one of the most popular kdramas of all time, you probably have seen references to it in more recent shows. Mouse is a police/detective show, so it has that kinda of pace, dark murder mystery vibe, also great cast. The Legend of the Blue Sea is known for its ludicrous comedy; it’s fantasy romantic comedy with a million dollars cast. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is a historic/fantasy show; very dramatic with sprinkles of happiness throughout; brilliant actors. All these have one thing in common: wonderful actors and fantastic casting. You should watch them all. Mouse is the next one on my list.

-I’m totally amazed by IU's acting in MY MISTER. What a phenomenal show. I cried a lot with her character . -Mouse has a crazy script and I remembered I was so mind blown by the story and the characters. -reply 1988 is a heartwarming show and I am very intrigued by the 80-90s scenes . The romance is pretty good and very interesting to see which cp do people ship. -Goblin is my top Kdrama. But I am a little bit worried about the age gap between the two main characters would make you guys feel weird. Still, really hope I could see you guys react to this one. -Moonlovers has a lot of actors that you had seen in the k dramas you already watched. So it will be very interesting to see your reaction.

goblin is really famous because it was very different type of dramaat the time of 2016 but now after 2016 a lot of dramas use the goblin formula a looot so it might not be that amazing for you guys but it definetely was a trend setter BUT the age gap really irked me a lot no matter how good the script and acting was
