Having watched both sub and dub of Code Geass, I think Euphemia and Suzaku’s romantic relationship is alot more obvious in the dub

😂 I love the contension around the vampire lady and leader dude ship. So funny. But I must say, I also ship it lol enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes if it's done well. Also, I think you just made me realize I'm a highly neurotic person lol but I have come to realize the critical voice in my head isn't even my voice, it's the negative people's in my life, so everytime I criticize myself for something, I think to myself if it's something I would criticize someone else for, and that has helped a lot. So maybe that's something you could say to help your friends? Though that only works if they truly wouldn't criticize someone else for it 😅 BTS got me super into Jungian theory and shadow work, and my previous counselor brought up um.. I forget the technical name for it, but basically mental errors you make where it's binary thinking, sunk cost fallacy, all or nothing thinking, catastrophizing, and then hypercritical thinking where you are basically just insulting yourself without realizing it, so I've gotten super into Jung's shadow work around these mental barriers using the shadow journal. It's an interesting tool, though I don't recommend doing it without a therapist to guide you through really heavy and complicated emotions. Too bad we can't just hand that to Suzaku lol I feel his character personifies people who could benefit from shadow work
