"I don't like sad media" sooo most of your channel then? 😂 This is why I keep recommending "Buddy Daddies." I know you guys would like it but everyone else on here seems determined to torture you with the saddest stories! Lmao Well.. Horimyia notwithstanding. If I had to compare it, I'd say Buddy Daddies is similar to Spy Family. Granted, it was sorta a poorly timed released with bad advertising, so a lot if people probably don't know it 😅 But ya, I totally get what you guys mean by that energy where you tell everyone what you read, or don't read, and yet everyone still recommends the exact thing you dislike reading 😂 I'm trying to push through a YA novel (I struggle with most YA) because my case worker recommended it, and while the concept is good, the writing is geared towards young folk so it's been pretty tough for me as someone who only likes tortured adult, paranormal romance novels or John Green. Wonder if Steph would like it, tho? 🤔 It's called "Yumi and the Nightmare Painter." It's themed for East Asian culture, about this lazy dude who basically captures people's nightmares by painting them or something along those lines. A girl named Yumi is like a priestess from another world and she gets transported to the Painter's world and they drive each other crazy trying to work together. It's supposed to have a lot of depth about mental health, dealing with responsibility and imposter syndrome. Also a young romance and some comedy. It's pretty good so far for what it is, but I'm used to more angst 😅 Apparently Sanderson is amazing, tho. I want to read his more famous series but I need to find the name
