The characters are so likeable ^^ I'm definitely Heiter in that group, with the low stamina getting dragged around by this stupidly energetic friend, but I had similar experience and actually don't regret it so this episode warmed my heart. It is worth it ^^ Frieren with the towel and the tantrum flashback was hilarious XDDD Every time she mentions Flamme's knowledge on relationships she looks so smug LMAO It feels like Flamme was actually clueless too but acted all grown-up in front of her student

About the north being dangerous, from living in Australia, where natural disasters pretty much don't exist Looking at the news from Florida or something about the new hurricane every 3 years destroying the coast or some tornado prone area always gets me like "why rebuild there!" I guess theyre used to it like you mentioned lol

That Frieren tantrum was just a tiny, single panel in the manga. It made me really happy Madhouse went all that extra effort to animate it like that. If you rewatch that scene, you could see Frieren crying on top of Eisen's head lol I love her so much Also, I don't know if Madhouse did it on purpose but the way Frieren cries looks similar to Anya from Spy x Family. The two share the same JP VA after all.

I would like to think of it as, you see your future change based on the decisions you make. So if you don't train you see yourself losing. Maybe the hero of the south could only see a bright future for humanity through choosing to sacrifice himself. Maybe the hero didn't see himself winning and hence schlat didn't see himself losing. But the hero's last second choice to sacrifice himself made it into a reality. People have always explained seeing the future as seeing the flow of a river, it's ever changing till a choice is solidified

I think in the story, one can only see the future up to the point of his or her death. Can not see the future beyond that.

About the lizard thingy and dragons... What we saw here was a kind of wyvern. the nonflying type, like you said a hydra. The most common wyvern type is like a lizard-bird, as in having 2 feet to stand on and the 2 front-legs have evolved into wings (like birds). they usually can still use their front-legs/wings as legs, but wyverns usually have 4 limbs. The dragon on the other hand is usually depicted as having 4 libs to stand on and an additional pair of wings, so usually 6 limbs. Of course there are other types as well. This type with the 6 limbs is usually the western depiction of a dragon, while the elongated asian dragon usually can fly without wings (or they have tiny ones, relative to their body-size) But thats all open to your own interpretation, as they are fictional ^^
