The first panel looks like a really loud speech bubble, probably from Vanessa, likely yelling about what Mandy did after Alex plays the vid for her. Second panel seems more like reparation and trying to figure out what to do now, since he's out of a job and she's most likely feeling guilty for being somewhat responsible for it. But the best thing is that they're talking to each other and trying to figure out what to do.

I don't blame either them for being shaken up for their respective reasons, but considering the Mandy Arc has only gone on for less than a week in-universe, I'd hope they could overcome this. That's what I've wanted to see most when it started, to see them overcome obstacles together and it's rough at the time but they're brought even closer and are better off for it, like...partners. I figured this could go one (or all) of the following ways: 1) Most of her anger would be redirected at Mandy, and more than likely multiplied at her. 2) She would still be mad at him that he didn't tell her what was going on, especially after he committed to doing something about it. She'd understand why he didn't, yes, but if he was going to act anyway, she could have helped with the plan if she had any better ideas. 3) She would be mad at herself for this going on right under her nose without her doing anything and she was in the dark about it until it was over, and is also mad at herself that risking a fuck at work was her idea in the first place even if a pretty terrible person took advantage of them for it. 4) It ultimately worked out, but both of them are still pretty shaken up and just need time to sort out their feelings and just be glad to still have each other.
