Don’t know if you’ll ever read the Vertigo comics of Constantine/Hellblazer, but it’s John’s habit to be a plague to the ones he’s closest to. I’m not talking like normal “Supervillains go after my loved ones” bad. Lots of his family dies horribly, and worse. Sooner or later, everybody curses the day they ever heard of John Constantine

ok, so, the Constantine house of mystery thing you saw is a dc showcase short, i believe almost every dc animated movie after a certain point (being vague on purpose) released with a showcase short, they're not strictly *necessary* viewing, but i would recommend watching these, both because they're very good, and also because a lot of them establish characters that show up in movies later (one of the shorts ends with a character going through a portal, and we see him coming out the other side of it in a movie later) i'm trying not to say too much because its very easy to spoil something talking about these, but i could probably put together a list of what shorts came with what movies in the discord if you would be interested in watching those

Yeah so this movie was initially a 5 episode series released back in 2018 as a continuation to the DCAMU movie, Justice League Dark. At some point in 2019, they decided to release it as a two part feature length movie. The Constantine House of Mystery I would hold off on watching since it spoils things that happen way later in the DCAMU. I don't want to say what it is cause it does spoil a certain movie that you have yet to watch to understand but I would wait a while before getting to it. It being a DC showcase means it's just a short film that was featured as bonus content in one of the DVDs for a DC animated movie. Similar to the DC showcase you watched of Green Arrow a while back. But yeah Constantine is a very interesting villain and a lot of what he deals with being the supernatural and very mystical side of the DC universe is pretty dark but also really cool. Makes me hope we won't really have to wait long for him to make an appearance in the DCU. I mean there is a Swamp Thing movie being made and who knows if he'll show up in that like he did in the Swamp Thing comics since John and Swamp Thing do have a history. Plus I'm hoping we eventually can get the Justice League Dark on the big screen. It still makes me so mad and bummed that we never got Guillermo del Toro's Justice League Dark movie that he was going to do several years ago. Since it was going to follow Constantine and Zatanna as the main characters and feature them alongside the other Justice League Dark members. But I'm interested to see what you think of the next DCAMU movie, Reign of the Supermen. I'm also interested to see what you think of the Elseworld movie, Superman: Red Son. That movie has one of my favorite music soundtracks in a DC movie but it sucks that it was never officially released. Also I'm happy that your introduction to Constantine is through Justice League Dark and this movie since most people's introduction is from the Keanu Reeves Constantine movie, which isn't bad at all but it's funny seeing people realize later that he's a DC character, blonde and British
