so we thought it would be easiest to do a google form so we can separate by genre, and then we’ll make a poll based on what we feel like watching the most.. here’s also our letterboxd so that you can see most of the movies we watched

If you're going to watch the HBO Penguin show you should watch The Batman 2022 film first.

some of my recommendations: - Animated/Drama/Romance: A Silent Voice (2016) - Animated: Grave of the Fireflies (1988) - Animated 2: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) - Horror: US (2019) - Foreign: City of God (2002) - Fantasy: Howl's Moving Castle (2004) - Musical: Wicked (2024) If I had to pick one of these for them to watch it would be "A Silent Voice," one of my fav animated movies in general. But I also REALLY like "Into the Spider-Verse"

Surprised neither of you have seen Forrest Gump, but in that case it should definitely be on top of your list of dramas.

I need you to watch When Marnie Was There more than breath itself. Think about if Azula had a coming-of-age story.

I don’t even know if we can still vote on this and I didn’t even know you guys did movie reviews. A lot of the ones I put are series so I understand if you can’t do those (hunger games Harry Potter etc) but I would like you guys to do the standalone movies I put in

Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. It's one of the weirdest but also one of the best movies I've ever seen, and it's very difficult to classify, so I put it in as comedy, action, and drama, but it could easily be sci-fi. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll feel lots of things, but it all comes together in the end.

Lord of the Rings and Shawshank Redemption!
