Hi, in the last couple weeks I did take a break (even though I said I was just 'taking it easy') and mainly focused on drawing random strangers' characters for Artfight, refreshing my art skills a little bit. Here are my favorites from that:

I've mostly finished with Artfight now, thinking I've probably gotten that out of my system. I have also begun to focus more on my personal life and improvement, with some soul-searching, and that has been really fulfilling (although distracting.) Also I saw that Superman movie and I really liked it.

Game-wise, I am feeling pulled back to Welcome To The Dark Place again, which is beginning to seem more urgent as October approaches; since I finished mostly what is necessary to beat the game from start to finish, I have set a release date that I won't push forward even if the game still has some barren patches. It's perhaps a little easier to work on this game in small, less-daunting pieces. The game has many areas which were fully written around the start of this year but still have no audio, so yesterday and today I have been mixing audio. One area requires a lot of paper sound effects, and another requires some good quality sounds of a baboon screaming, so I wonder how hard it'll be to find that. Anyway, I'm definitely hoping to pick up some momentum over the next week or two. Until then!

You have a really nice and distinct drawing style, the first drawing and the one of Serpent_x (not pictured in this post) are my favourites. Also glad to hear you are seeing improvement regarding your personal life, that should always come first. I hope WTTDP development will be mostly smooth, and that the October release will be a big weight off your shoulders. I think it's a good idea to release it no matter what, you can always make an update post-release.

Hey Zeekers, I’ve been really enjoying hearing about your new games and such. I just wanted to say I’d love to see you get back into Lethal Company sometime. It’s such a fun game with great multiplayer moments and that style of yours fits so well in it. Plus, it always seemed to do really well for you considering it outsold so many other games on steam. Totally understand wanting to branch out and try new things—just wanted to share a bit of support for more Lethal whenever it feels right. I really miss the major updates and the thrill of a new monster, or a new interior, or a new moon or just new experiences overall. Thanks for all the work you put into it already and I again, just whenever, I ask you come back time-to-time to it. There is a huge community that constantly looks forward for whatever you bring next. Have a good day!
