Dreamcatcher Ben

"...and while they didn't get affiliated, they did get banished near instantly the moment the silvery flames touched them. " That should be annihilated, not affiliated.

I like Jeff, BFF. “Oh? That sounds … perfect,” Selene said, grinning now. “Thank you, I can wait.” If it can wait it means you need it right damn now woman! You live in the 40k universe and you don't know this!

Given that the psychoactive blackstone is probably as close as we can get to the opposite of blackstone why not call it whitestone?

Dreamcatcher Ben

This is going to be very interesting... On the note of blackstone's name, I would just call positivly charged Blackstone 'noctalith', and negative anti warp Blackstone just 'blackstone'. The problem is basicly already solved for you. also, did the inquisitor and watch-whatever bring the letter from ''revelation''? How will echidna react if they did? How will the deathwatch react if echidna shows them their members are not dead but captive?

Tesiel

Noctalith is the Necron name for the Blackstone, is it not? If so I propose Starlith, Astralith or Siderlith since it's a silver flaming blackstone (black and silver like a star filled sky and in Latin constellation/star can be called either Astrum or Sidus/Sideris while Blackstone is Noctalith and night in Latin is Nox/Noctis)

Speaking of big Jeff smashing Chaos warbands I’m really eager to see what Chaos factions will come for Echidna next? Will it be one of the major Traitor Legions, the Black Legion, the Red Corsairs, or maybe someone niche like the Sons of Malice?????

Conman2731

Might I also ask the Author Arawn what they think of the recent 40k lore books and what they add to the story? Like “500 Worlds Titus” and the upcoming “The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant”? Any chance Echidna might cross paths with the legendary Captain Titus as he battles Nekrosor Ammentar who is attempting to revive the Nightbringer??? Or maybe she’ll head to the Malestrom to aid Prince Yriel against the Tyrant Huron Blackheart???

Valderan

I'd be more concerned with a bunch of Word Bearers showing up and wanting to join with her. They were responsible for the ritual that brought her in. They might view her actions as messianic but so incalculable that their faith allows them to follow her commands blindly. Would not be good optics.

agent squee

Thank you for the chapter I'm looking forward to this conversation.

KisaragiKult

Marin Angelov
