A new game I'd like to recommend Ant to try is Guilty Gear Strive, I just picked it up 2 months ago and it's the most fun I've had with a fighting game, and Right now is a good time to pick it up, because there's an update coming this month that will add a competitive ranked mode

Arkend Foss

they need to react to the deleted joker scene from this movie, it gives a much better look at who this joker is

aki's boyfriend

under the red hood is a dc must watch. absolutely heartbreaking

3:26:04 If you knew DC Comics you would know how hilarious this line is. If you don't know Bludhaven is the one city that's even more corrupt and has even more crime than Gotham.

Sage of All knowing

9:35 wait a min se is not a AI vtuber, oh man that is it I am leaving XD

I love how this movie gives us a year 2 batman, that is constantly Batman. At night he's vengeance, during the day, he still vengeance just without his suit and he can't punch anybody. We have a bat that actually has to grow into being Bruce Wayne.

Jacob

You should totally check out some of DCs animated stuff I feel like while they have some great live action films they really shine with things like Batman the animated series, the classic Justice League series, and a lot of one off films like Superman red sun

MoD+

The Scene in the dark where Batman is only visible when gunshots are fired is sooooo epic. What a great movie

Life Dope

Oh you should absolutely react to the penguin show it's so awesome!!

Structuring this movie as a detective film was so great for it, and yeah it's one of the issues with Marvel oversaturation, they're *too* consistent in tone. I think it's part of why the Marvel streaming shows did so well, yes they're all still superhero-y, but they've got different vibes to them. Wandavision was a weird mildly spooky homage to the history of sticoms, Loki was a sci-fi/fantasy mystery series, Hawkeye has the action-with-some-comedy vibes of shows like Burn Notice or Person of Interest. I kinda wish they'd lean a little *more* into the differences in tone for the sort of sub-franchises of Marvel. Let Dr Strange be scary like the last big chunk of Multiverse of Madness, let Captain America lean into the Tom Clancy political espionage/conspiracy vibes, keep letting Thor be funny and absurdist even if 4 wasn't as good as 3

Crazyone

This was worth watching when it came out in theaters, That car chase was Crazy, the sounds were Felt more than heard.

SonicStantz

I hope that this means that she will watch The Penguin series later on.

Gotham in this film looks so good because it was filmed heavily in Liverpool, a city with rich Neoclassical, Greek Revival, and Gothic Revival architecture that fits Gotham perfectly. They also filmed in Glasgow, as well as Chicago. So the result is a fantastic-looking city that feels unique, something I personally thought was lacking in the Snyderverse (DCEU) and the Nolan trilogy, where (aside from Batman Begins) Gotham basically just became Chicago or New York, lacking a unique identity. The only thing I would add to The Batman’s Gotham City are blimps flying overhead, ever since Batman: The Animated Series they’ve been a staple of the city but have never appeared in live action, at least in the films. I would love to see them in the films. Visually, they would look stunning flying over the city, and the sound of them would make for a great ambient effect, a buzz throughout the city. If we don’t get them in The Batman films, then we’ll no doubt see them in the DCU under James Gunn, since that’s going in a more fantastical direction, while The Batman is still fairly grounded in terms of realism.

Titan_Witch11

Funny thing is that usually it's Joe Chill who kills Bruce's parents and he was very much a random criminal so I wouldn't call bs on that

Imperial Guard

Hearing the Batmoblie reving up in the theater was a surreal experience. That scene was absolutely perfect. The rest of the movie is fantastic as well.

TwinCat

Does she know?

Barbaryen Boy

My mom sadly did not like this movie at all, she didn’t think Catwoman was hot enough, didn’t think Robert Pattinson made a good Batman and found the movie boring. The rest of my family also didn’t like the movie. I personally think it’s the best live action Batman film ever made with the only problem being that he’s doesnt have a whole lot of muscle

YeCrustModifier

This Batman really is the epitome of, “wait, she was coming onto me?“ 🤣🤣🤣

3:23:24 I have to disagree on that because ALL the live action version of the joker so far have been "let's do something different and be original" and for every Heath Ledger's joker that are good original depictions (while still being bad adaptions), we get shitty ones like Jared Leto. It's getting exhausting. A good Joker live action adaption I'm still waiting (and will probably never see because everyone is obsessed with rAaLiSm hurr durr) should be based the Batman Animated Series, Justice League Animated, Return of The Joker and the Arkham games, all voiced by Mark Hamil. THAT is the quintessential version of the character people should aspire to replicate that have yet to get in live action. -The Joker should NOT wear makeup, his skin is white because of the acid; -He should not be sympathetic or misunderstood. -He should be comically villainous for evil's sake. That was my Joker rant, ty for coming to my TED talk 😅

Baindrik Morgren

Ah yes, lets go to Bludhaven. One of the only places worse than Gotham. Great choice.

WillGlacier

Ngl, this movie made the Riddler such a better villain. Like fuck that goofy ass, all green, question mark wearing DOOFUS. This Riddler actually scares me by how psychotic and playful he can be with his riddles

Unstablebeast

You GOTTA watch th3 penguin show, it's soooooo good

Memento Forever

Watching this after Joker 2, is a great feeling.

Toxic Brellim

You gotta watch Gotham on here it’s so good and worth it

Julio Castillo

They need to react to the Deleted Joker scene of this movie.

Nico andHades

Found this late cause Patreon hates giving me notifications. I hope Alicia reacts to Young Justice at some point. It's one of my favorite DC shows overall and I personally think it offers a great balance of things for long time fans and newcomers looking to try to get into the DC universe (I always recommend it when I know someone trying to give DC a chance)

Jaffar Black Fang

Oh man now I want Alicia and Ant to do a Sopranos reaction as well as the penguin

revynomugiwara

james gun suicide squad is great

Kamvex

What you said at 26:28 is the EXACT vibes they wanted for this movie. Even as a hero, Batman is a detective, and not many movies focus on him being said detective.

Moviejunkie

Not gonna lie, I think I prefer this riddler without the mask. The actor is so charismatic and weird so it kind of sucks when his performance is being covered up.

Dsdmedia

Well niw sge gas to watch penguin

KatoBen

I remember when this film was in theaters, it got a lot of disinterest due to how different it was, but it is one really well done movie. Was their pushback regarding Gordan's actor? Only by rage baiters. The actor picks up the role and plays it brilliantly. FYI, I'm really tired of rage baiters. Most of the time, these people are raging about shows and films they've never seen themselves. If you're going to rage about something, at least experience it first to form an opinion.

Life Dope

I'll be waiting on you watching The penguin since it takes place after this movie

Tornfudge123

You should the the Dark Knight !!!!!!
