Someone posed this thought to me about Murray Franklin- What if he THOUGHT the act WAS being cringe and unfunny? Like, Arthur was being unfunny on purpose as an ironic thing? If so, the way the booker who calls him speaks - 'Isn't that so great?' - makes sense. They think it's his act.

Yeah tbf there are many version of Batman some of which explore the possibility of Bruce’s parents not being the good people they seemed to be. I know one version he was partners with falcone And another where he would use his influence as a doctor to get his political rivals and their families commuted to Arkham asylum and drug them to hell for his gain. It’s a big dichotomy for the Pillars of morality they are usually depicted as And I’m not religious but if your watching joker 2 I’ll pray for you all😅😅😅

I will warn you now, do not watch Joker 2, it goes in a completely different direction, like it's a musical and not even a good one, and really just butchers the first movie, completely. Unless you want to watch it to see what a trainwreck it is and to make fun of it there's no other point watching it, it is completely terrible.

Please do not watch Folie a Deux. It is Fantastic 4 2015 levels of bad. This movie is the only one that exists. There is no sequel. Nothing bad ever happened. Ever. But even I saw this one in 2019 and was like "This is sooooooo dark." Oh they had to take the morphine button away from me when I was recovering from surgery, I just kept clicking it and dancing while lying down. That is some goooood shiiiiiiit.

I saw this movie 7 times when it came out in theaters. So glad it got 19 Oscar nominations. Also during the first three weeks this movie first came out there were protest around the world where there was a dictatorship, and most of the pictures that were taken during these events were people dressed up as this version of Joker make up. I don't know if those videos are still up or been taken down .

i always thought there was a possibility that thomas actually had the child with her but he used his money and power to make it seem like she didnt and that she was crazy and adopted the child. this would also drive any person this done this to crazy as well. but she could also just have been lying

I've always interpreted the TV show scene as that he went there entirely prepared to kill himself on live television, but he changed his mind as he started talking. there a moment where you can kind of see it click in his mind right before he talks about how Murrey is also terrible.

The movie was not planned to have a sequel, in fact it was a very popular opinion that it shouldn't have a sequel. Great movie. Before the sequel there was a theory that the whole movie happened inside his head and only the ending where he thought of it as a joke was real.

Wow. There is… a SCARY amount of, not even similarities but absolute PARALLELS with what’s happening in America right now in this movie. Social security and mental health resources being cut, strikes for basic needs, people rally behind the killer of a rich CEO as a figurehead… the people running for power treating half the common folk like clowns…

Im sorry I had to stop watching it don't remember the timestamp but when you mentioned that your laughter/crying sound very much alike each other because both are equally odd feelings to have around people your uncomfortable with. Especially when something uncalled for or just morally to you, not acceptable but you just kind have to fake it until you can make it out of that situation... that's my life in a nutshell. Funny enough, this is obvious sarcasm but I digress... I still live with my family (mid 20's is all your getting for lore) and they've mocked the way I laugh for over half my life at least 1 decade for sure. My thing apparently is that my laugh sounds like I'm crying it's just how I react to things around people when I'm in an uncomfortable situation and it's really hurt me as a person growing up, it wasn't the first time I was shunned for having emotions and through that shame as an adult it feels wrong for me to experience joy through laughter because I was scolded for it for years. I can catch myself feeling a sense of guilt like I did something wrong for being happy in that moment and I know shouldn't feel that way but it's just my natural reaction at this point. I am in process of moving out though, so hopefully I can get that taken care of and move on with my life. I just need to save a little more. I'm just glad to have found someone who had a similar experience as me, it's one those " I don't feel alone on this planet" type of moments and i really needed to hear that. Thank you.

I remember watching this when it first came out i went with my gf at the time and we were supposed to go to a bar afterwards but I was so mentally messed up I had to go home she was pissed and did nothing to support me but that's a different story

I've come to my own conclusion that the majority of the movie that iss personal life of Arthur is him talking to the Dr in the end of the movie, he's telling her details from his point of view to garner sympathy, coming down to every kill he's done had a reason.

Zorro the Gay blade is actually one of my families favorite movies. Its so good and aged pretty well in my opinion. I hope it gets put on the list of movies to watch because its such a fun time. I got very excited when i saw it on the banner rest of the movie, pretty damn solid
