I feel for Stefan he does care and this episode showed it. I will never see the appeal of Damon and Elena cause I don’t see chemistry I see betrayal.. Damon actively trying to get Elena knowing how deeply Stefan feels for her and knowing how real it is for him will never sit right with me. The worst part is Damon gets actual joy from it he saw that Stefan was hurt by what happened and he still smirked I can’t stand him

For me, Damon and Elena have much better chemistry but with that being said, I really feel for Stefan because he was getting villainized for going with Klaus when it was only to protect Damon AND Elena. Even that scene when he found Elena in the closet with the names of all his victims on the wall, he didn't out her to Klaus. He turned into the "bad guy" to save the two people he loves most, and then when he didn't want to continue, Klaus compelled him and Damon definitely took advantage of that opportunity. So, my COTE is Stefan, because despite hearing that Elena and Damon kissed, he still took the high road and said that she could do better than both of them, due to all of the problems that they both brought into her life, as well as for taking accountability and showing emotion. And that punch was definitely warranted.

I get what you mean by picking Stefan over Damon, Mair...but let's face it, Elena is a type of girl who drools all over "bad boys" like Damon...she doesn't deserve Stefan and he doesnt deserve to be involved in all the drama that comes with her

i get what u both mean, but from Elenas perspective id say completely done with stefan for her after he drove her over that bridge knowing how much it would affect her knowing what happened to her parents over that bridge and the trauma nope stefan out

i get what you are saying, but the same could be applied to Damon. He killed Jeremy knowing Jeremy was her last family member, but he was still forgiven.
