Hello everyone, hope you're having a great weekend.

I finished writing the first 10 chapters of Newt and Demon book 2, and I'm pretty happy with the setup. I think I have everything in line, everyone reintroduced, all the plot points set up for the whole book, so it should come together nicely.

The last ~10-15 chapters of n&d book 1 are short, and I really wasn't happy with the 2k chapter length. For the serial readers, the ending shouldn't be a problem since we go straight into book 2, but the ending may be a challenge for the future readers in novel-format. This was the first book that I strayed far from the 3-act structure, so book 2 is heavily structured in that format. I haven't bothered to put the first book into a single manuscript yet, as it will be edited, but it's going to come in at around 130-150k words.

Anyway, I don't really have any updates other than that! Just wanted the patrons to know that I'm very excited with how book 2 is shaping up!
