Friday Updates (Patreon)

Should I write an update every Friday? I'm gonna, I like having a place to dump my thoughts.

So, I finished formatting that Hallben book, which is way later than I like. I still need to write a foreword, introduction, and afterword which means I'm far behind where I should be.

But, that's fine. The Newt and Demon book 2 is shaping up to be something I'm really enjoying. As of chapter 30, I only have 1 more character to introduce for all my plot lines to fall into place. I've toyed with a few twists in my mind, but those aren't speaking to me so we'll just keep it cool for book 2. I'm just going to focus on the mystery of the dungeons and laying the foundation for a strong town in this book.

If you notice more fighting in this book, that's because I'm itching to write combat. Theo will never participate in combat, but we have a bunch of dungeons and monster waves so fighting is going to make it onto the page eventually. Nothing crazy. Just a few quick scenes.

I always plan on working on a second story, but run out of time during the week. I could really grind and get my weekly chapters done by Wednesday, but that's a bit much. 9,000 words in 3 days can be hard when you're not full time.
