Well, it's another Friday. Well, I'm writing this on Thursday and publishing it on Thursday but... You know.

I thought it was going to be a challenge to write this week, as I've passed the half-way point in the writing of book 2. Turns out, not really. There's A LOT going on in this book, so it's super easy to pick out the most interesting plot points and put those forward.

I have 3 "jump the shark" moments in mind and have decided that I'm allowed to put 1 in each book. Tresk was my moment for book 1, and I just wrote the moment for book 2. This one answers a lot of questions, sets up a mechanic to answer a ton of other questions, and opens the door to even more questions. The event I wrote was actually the newest one in my mind, but it was too compelling.

I'm working on sprinkling answers to everything throughout the text as well. There should be a solid baseline with the understand that this is a slice of life novel. You can take EVERYTHING at face value, and you're right. There's an alchemist in the swamp, and he has some challenges to get through, but he is there to have a good time. If you want to dig deeper, you can think about who is behind the monster waves. Who took what Miana held so dear. What does Drogramath want.

Anyway. I think I say "anyway" too much. Anyway, the second book in my other series is out, so check that out: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B4X6V8LP

That series isn't nearly as popular as this one, but it's whatever. I'm just happy that everyone enjoys The Newt and Demon!

Welcome to November!
