Update (Week of 10-6-2023) (Patreon)

Not much going on this week. In a good way.

I'm taking today off this week, but that's about it. I let the Mechanist story rest for about a week, and I'm going to go through it today. I think it's good enough to move forward. According to my spreadsheet, that book should be ready for RR release before the end of this year. Of course, patrons are going to get first crack at it.

That story ties in directly to N&D, taking place between 450 and 500 years after book 8. I smashed together ideas from two different books I was thinking about, and the result is fun. I've been more interested in writing a character that is not the leader of anything. Someone who is free to run around the world and check stuff out. Vibes are incredibly cozy. Got some ghosts running around. An angry dwarf that operates a river boat. This Dryad character that I've had in mind for a while.

Oh, so there's something to talk about. When Book 5 starts releasing for N&D you'll notice a few style changes. Capitalization is going to change, as well as some telepathic dialog tags. All thanks to my editor who tore book 1 to shreds.

Anyway, not a lot to talk about this week. SGS is on the shelf for now while I try and build up this... brand? Is this a brand, I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I just wanna write cozy books about guys making mundane things magical.
