Disney lore! Time to unleash my Powers of Old! This episode is heavily referencing an old Disney cartoon called Adventures of the Gummi Bears. In it, you had a race of anthropomorphic bears who harvested Gummi Berries to make a potion that would give them super bouncing powers. The bouncing sound effects you hear in this episode were from the same show. The bears protected the berries from humans because, for some reason, the Gummi Berry Juice made humans super strong instead of bouncy. So you had an evil king and his soldiers trying to harness the juice to create an unstoppable army. The rhyme spoken by Black Herron is actually a play on the lyrics for the theme song. "Gummi Bears!! Bouncing here and there and everywhere. High adventure that's beyond compare. They are the Gummi Bears!"

I knew you’d love this episode Morgan. Honestly, you and Webby are quite similar when it comes to just admiring your great hero Scrooge/David Tennant. Plus, like you said, Scrooge and Webb’s relationship really is cute. 🥹💜

SHUSH comes from the original Darkwing Duck, where they created it as an opposing spy organization to FOWL, which they imported from the original Ducktales. It's never specified whether 2017 Ducktales has any connection between the real SHUSH and the one in the in-universe Darkwing Duck show.

And this is the same Morgan, folks, that was 'Duck Tales.. woo oo?' and 'Ugh, I hate children' ;) Seriously though, that was fun watching you watch this one.

I love seeing how this show has grown on you and how much you're enjoying it now. This episode and the sweet moments between webby and scrooge make it so good.
