Loved getting some insight into Gangle and possibilities as to why her character is always wearing masks.

Look up the song "no girls toy" from the raggedy ann movie. It's where the "i been hurt enough! Packages falling on my head! Tea parties! Dancing lessons!" Raggatha and the chocolate monster from the candy kingdom are based off the beautifully animated Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure! Here's hoping you check it out, it's a wild ride!

My theory: Ganguls - masks depression Ragatha - from a rich family who owned horses & people pleaser Jax - idk yet Pom - idk yet King - was a computer programmer who lost his wife & couldn't handle it Zobul - not comfortable in her own body Cane & bubbles are two sides of the same person

Gangle is absolutely tweakin'... BUT. Imagine getting told by not just Jax, but RAGATHA too.... that the others PREFER you with your depression mask? How heartbreaking that must feel. Even the nicest girl in the Circus wants you to be DEPRESSED all the time because you're easier to "handle" that way. Poor Gangle. I'm so happy to see these weird little glimspes into all the characters' pasts this episode. I want Gangle an Ragathat and Pomni to be happy after this 🥺🙏

I really enjoyed this episode. It felt... somewhat normal💙. I love getting new details of the characters. And, was Jax, actually... a little nice... in this episode😮? That was a pleasant surprise😊

Wow. An episode where Jax actually showed some concern. That’s…. Weird. 🤣 Gangle’s “masks” was just true for people who have to put on a face for jobs that you hate and trying to avoid talking about honestly and openly. I liked the theory that the game is supposed to be an online therapy program. If that were the case, Gangle might actually did work in the real world as a manager and the fact that she hated it and wanted to draw more. That made her more depressed and wanted to use the program to find a better “mask” to wear. Also, I’ve noticed a few things from Ragatha. Like when she was “drunk” and talked about her horses, having to go to tea parties and dress up. That sounded like she came from a wealthy family and had a privileged upbringing. But there was also the scene where she was taking to the Gloink Queen that I just noticed, like she was interested about the queen learning the names of her children. Maybe that’s her problem. Maybe the reason why she is here is because she likes to be a people pleaser is because she never got real friends to talk to and didn’t have a good relationship with her parents. That’s all I’m getting so far. I have no idea which theory is the most accurate, but love hearing everyone’s different theories into this very great show. 💜

Going off the theory that this is therapy software, I found the end of Gangle's shift... troubling. Not only does she fall into traffic, but the first we see of Caine afterwards are his feet dropping into frame. Kinda looks like he's... hanging. I'm wondering if, in her real life, Gangle... made an attempt to end it. Zooble offering Gangle the mask in the first place may have been an allusion to a new med or a new outlook. That Gangle said it feels "normal". But we see in the end it didn't work, but Zooble is willing to help her try again. And until then, they want Gangle to feel accepted and loved as part of the group. I am the Eeyore of my friend group. Low energy, depressive, typically low key. I've worked a variety of food service jobs, but my time at Five Guys stands out in this case. The job required we all be energetic, chipper, and positive. I am none of that, but I faked the fuck out of it to earn that pay and get those bonuses. So Gangle's allegory of putting on a mask really hit home for me in this episode. And props to the crew for really capturing the stark bleakness of a closing shift at one of these establishments. From the clinical silence to the "fuck my life" collapse you feel at the end of the shift.

The teapot if I had to guess is probably a reference to Russell’s Teapot!

On the performance review board everyone got a B+ except Kinger. He got an A+ despite not participating

Spudsy's was also the name of the restaurant Sue Heck worked at in The Middle 0:

I freaking hate working food service/customer service jobs getting screamed at all day, smelling like old burger grease, just the constant belittlement by management and customers it drove me crazy

Can I ask you something regarding fictional characters, Morgan?

Sekiro

Do you think that it's very disrespectful for people to sexualize characters who are victims of SA by drawing them with big boobs in their fanart? Because I certainly think it is.

What Ragatha says about being hurt is a call to the raggedy Ann show
