I am unbelievably excited about watching this with you all! I'm putting it on my TV right now. I think it ties it up in a little bow perfectly and very emotional and very beautiful. The part where they go into where the dragons are is so beautiful and the music is incredible.

I love how the farewell between Hiccup and Toothless is like their beginning but in reverse. In the first movie Hiccup reached out his hand not looking at him then turns to look after Toothless pushes his nose against his hand and at the end while looking at him places his hand on the nose of Toothless then Hiccup turns away. I love that visual so much. I love these movies and every time I watch again I grow to love them even more. I appreciate you guys reactions and am so happy you decided to go on this journey. It's truly special. God bless!!

Grimmel in a way was a look at what Hiccup could have become. When Grimmel killed his first Night Fury it set him on a path to wanting to take them all out because he was a celebrated hero in his homeland. Hiccup thought he wanted to kill a Night Fury to prove himself to his father and village but couldn't do it and discovered a connection to dragons that led him on a path to try to protect them all. It just shows how close Hiccup was to becoming someone like Grimmel. Gosh these movies are just so good.

Well the end of this was a bit of a tearjerker for me. Man wasn't expecting that. But wow was this a great film! Fun reaction, fun movie. Did anyone else notice that bewilderbeast from the 2nd film in the Hidden world? With his broken tusk. Thought that was a neat little touch.

So true!! It's actually crazy how close Hiccup was to becoming Grimmel, but it's also wonderful how they managed to highlight what makes them so different from each other. Hiccup has so much compassion and kindness within himself, and seeing how he grew with Toothless just went to show us the potential fully explored!

Totally agree, and that ending man... It was so emotional because, we know it's the right thing to do but seeing them having to separate from each other for the safety of the dragons was still heartbreaking! What a wonderful story!

Hadn't seen this one so I watched this one as a watch along with you. Innumerables lagrimas de alegria, tristeza o sentimientos agridulces. Aber hab es genossen, die Erfahrung mit euch zu teilen! I'm usually focused on visuals and sound, here the hidden world was just breathtaking and I had to go back and rewatch it a few times. Stuff like that just gives me endless goosebumps. Until the next shared experience.. can't wait to watch Arrival with you when you get to it. Es gibt einige, die ich empfehlen würde, aber bei mehreren bin ich "biased" (fält mir grad nich auf Deutsch ein), da mein Bruder in VFX arbeitet und bei den meisten mitgemacht hat, die mir am meisten gefallen. But I have to point out a few that I especially liked. 'Grand Budapest Hotel', pero ahora que lo pienso, creo que para el tema de terror en octubre "28 días después" seguido de "28 semanas después" sería más apropiado. Hasta el proximo! Alles Beste!
