Little easter egg, there are isolation save points hidden throughout the film. Stating that there is a possibility that Isolation is cannon

The fact that the alien/human hybrid at the end is no cgi but instead the first acting role in a suit for Robert Bobroczkyi is actually insane. Loved your reaction and for me this is easily one of my favorites so far. The way the story circled certain details from all movies combined is so fun to see. Critics say it's too much fan service but I loved it and especially the goo made perfect sense to me. My ranking would now be Alien Alien Romulus Alien Resurrection Aliens Prometheus Covenant Alien 3

Great Reaction Ari and Denise! Enjoyed that alot! I watched this movie on IMAX in darling harbour in Sydney. Best way to watch it in my opinion. I liked the Cinematography, Sound Design, Lighting and Colour Gradient, Camera angles and shot compositions in alot of the kinetic sequences like alot of the Facehugger scenes. I loved the concept of some of the scenes and the fidelity of the space landscapes they showed. Andy, by far, was my favorite character. Everyone else really rubbed me the wrong way, because they were just clearly either caricatures of alien alumni like Rain was clearly suppose to be the Ripley stereotype done no where near as endearing and one guy was a Hicks rip-off or they were just not characters i really wanted to see survive like the cousin who is hateful towards Andy or the pregnant girl who is essentially useless. Didn't like how much they nerfed the Facehuggers. In all other alien movies, the Facehuggers launch at you, rarely do they ever miss getting their target and once they have got them, it's impossible to remove them. This movie has Facehuggers missing their targets left right and center at shameful rates, this is the first movie l've ever seen a Facehugger be physically removed from their prey after latching on. They made the Facehuggers look like incompetent chumps, which is why they needed millions of them to do the job one used to do competently in the past. Was disappointed the CGI to bring the Ash Cameo didn't look the best. Would have been better if they had given a new actor a chance to play rook instead of doing a princess leia from Rogue One bad cgi job to bring sir Ian Holm back. Alot of Nostalgia bait. Some good, Some cringe worthy. Andy saying ripley's line from Aliens didn't feel earned to me. I'd give this movie a 7. Not the most terrible aliens movie ever made, but not the best alien movie ever either. I had other things i could've brought up, but i didn't want to be that guy.

I can understand where you are coming from when it comes to the Facehugger situation but I must point out the film makes a point to remind us that waking up from cryo can be a slow process. Those things were frozen! Why would we assume cryo wouldn't affect the Facehuggers. Especially when we know how sensitive a full grown Xenomorph is to temperature. I think the justification is right there. These facehuggers were disoriented, sloppy and were coming to their senses which is why later as the film goes on they become quicker but that's also around the time we shift our attention to the Xenomorph. Everything else you pointed out is up to preference so I understand!

This is such a good movie. It ties in the original alien movie with the Ridley Scott prequel because let’s face it. All three of those movies were his. He gave good little nod to the sequel that Scott never liked because it wasn’t a part of his story. And I liked how they continue to build this universe, not just with the Xenomorphs, but also with the world building

Prometheus was a wreck, just for the fact that it was suppose to pre-date aliens by over 100 years and you can see the tech look so much more advanced.. this movie was good but I think they tried tying to many things in one film.
