I have to check it out I’ve never even heard of this movie. that being said, I’ve never not enjoyed anything you guys have watched. If you guys are looking for another action pack to 80s movie(s) check out 48 hours and another 48 hours starring Eddie Murphy and Nick N.

I caught this film a while back and I have to say seeing it again didn't make it any less amazing. It was wonderful watching you guys fall in love like I did the first time made it even sweeter. I agree completely about what you were saying about the both the acts and the pacing. The movie is very well thought out and engages us all the way through. Probably one of the tightest scripts I've seen in an animated movie (at least one that's geared towards a younger audience). I love Disney, but I have to say that Dreamworks animation department are probably better filmmakers, at least in regard to scriptwriting and the way they conceive stories. Everything in this movie is engaging and even thought there is a vast character list no character seems under used or out of place. The themes as well are very wholesome but well written enough to not become too on the nose and "preach-y". It's always a bit tricky to evaluate voice-acting, but I feel like the cast did a great job here. Everything felt believable enough and the emotions drip through the voices when needed. I have to agree about the look as well. Gorgeous animation and the use of lighting is indeed creative and beautiful. Also, making a character out of metal feel completely emotional seems like an impossible task but they pulled it off. I very much enjoyed watching this with you guys and I think a lot of your thoughts in the discussion after were right on the money. If you want to dive deeper into animated movies there is a real treasure chest of good stuff to look at. Of course western animation has some real bangers, but let's not forget the asian movies geared towards a more mature audience as well. Some recommendations: Wall-E (2008) Wreck-It Ralph (2012) Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988) <- not entirely animated I know, but damn it looks good Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) Tokyo Godfathers (2003) <- a Christmas movie as well, btw Grave of the Fireflies (1988) Akira (1988)

I kept putting this movie off and after I finally watched it, it just blew me away! Look out Disney, Dreamworks is coming for that GOAT title!
