It really aggrieved me when Vanessa said she saved herself. She helped save herself sure, but Muse was draining her, putting hands on her, and she couldn't do a thing about it. Daredevil coming in and fighting him as well as disarming him was what gave her a chance to get the gun and shoot Muse. She has a refusal to see that Daredevil is the reason she is alive because of her prejudice against the mask. Very aggravating.

Matt might have had an angle for actually saving Fisk. I find it hard to believe that he wasn't aware of the position of Fisk, Vanessa and Heather at that point in time. For me it looks like he knew Fisk was the target and he intentionally took that bullet for him.
