STRANGER THINGS SEASON 2 EPISODES 1, 2 & 3 FULL LENGTH REACTION – WATCH ALONG

Nowhere Man

S2E1: This is one of the few ST episodes that has a "soft" ending with no: jump scare, cliffhanger, imminent danger, gruesome death, or emotional heartbreak. Enjoy. What impressed me most about MBB's performance as El is that El isn't EXACTLY a child. She's more like a superhuman adult in a child's body. That means MBB had to expertly play both sides of that role in an equally-convincing manner. She had to "grow up" as an actress as rapidly as El had to grow up as a woman. In this season, did you also notice how much the B&W monitor arrays look like the Matrix (without the green tint)? S2E2: I also love that little detail when E's watching TV and she mimics the British accent of the actors. It's that one moment when MBB gets to drop her flawless American accent. Nancy's guilt triggers are even worse than you speculated. If you remember, Barb didn't want to go to the party. It was Nancy who verbally bullied her into going and staying (and then leaving on her own). It was also Nancy that peer pressured Barb into drinking from the can, which caused Barb to cut herself, which in turn caused the demogorgon to hunt and kill her. Any way you look at it, Nancy is 100% (indirectly) responsible for Barb's death. That's not something Nancy can mentally sidestep. She obviously didn't know that Barb would get kidnapped and killed by a supernatural predator, but she knows it was her own selfishness that led to Barb's death.

Some people say season 2 is slow, but I just don't see it. Every season in this show is a banger in my mind for various reasons. It's like you can always point back to something significant in the journey. Can't wait to finish this one up, for sure!

I think, for me, what sets you apart from other reactors are your emotional intelligence and genuine empathy. You notice every microexpression and you truly feel for the characters. Like with El being so isolated these last few episodes. It really tugs on the heartstrings. Just wanted to leave that comment here - that I love your reactions and I appreciate how authentic you are! Also the quickness of these uploads are awesome.
