As someone who has lost a Child, those flash back scenes with Hopper always get me. No matter how long it's been, there is always something that will trigger a memory and pull you right back into grief. Though you are never really all the way out. And the fact Hopper was trying to save Will when there was nothing he could do for his daughter is so painful. And the emotions Hopper shown is very realistic and grounded.

If you guys could, you should react to the trailer for Season 2 of Fallout. As a Fallout fan, I can say it is an absolute love letter to the fans.

I'm watching this just coming off re-watching season 4 and it really is amazing how many little things in season 1 and 2 that I was confused about that make complete sense now. Like what happens to Eleven at the end when she kills the demogorgon always bothered me, but post season 4, I can enjoy that scene a lot more now. I'm so curious if the Duffers really did plan things that far ahead or wrote certain scenes in season 4 with the early seasons in mind.

Vecna stuff was written to fit with S1 and 2. They weren't sure if the show was going to continue after season one when they were producing it, so they made a finale that would work for the show. Still some mysteries here and there. They mightve added the Will in the bathroom stuff when S2 was greenlit but I'm not 100. As someone who has written stories for decades now, it's rather easy to write later stuff you just came up with to fit your older work. I hate amnesia as an excuse to do that - like Eleven in S4 - but it's an understandable trope in fiction.
