You realized that this REALLY happened? A good friend of mines dad was one of the scientists going through all of the stuff they had available with them to fix the problems. His stories were amazing!

Excellent! I can’t imagine the stress all of those people were under to bring home the astronauts. An amazing feat. While watching this, I thought about a movie Contact. I don’t think you’ve watched it yet. Thoughtful science fiction, a first contact scenario. Directed by Robert Zemeckis who directed Forrest Gump. Given your reaction to The Martian and Apollo 13, I think you would really enjoy it.

There is a documentary you might enjoy called Good Night OPPY. It's Amazon Prime. Not sure how old you both were when they sent the rovers to Mars, but it was such a cool mission and lasted for over a decade when it was only expected to last a few months. I honestly don't know if this will get you any hits as a reaction, so maybe watch it on your own, but it's still worth while. I wish everyone would take the time out of their busy schedule to watch it.

Can't begin to fathom! The entire world was watching and hoping they could come back home safely but the poor family members...I wouldn't been able to sleep during that entire week!
