I always thought nostalgia had to be from a time you experienced, but the definition makes it seem that it isn't necessarily the case. Nobody on the couch lived back then, though, so they don't really have familiarity with that time. I imagine most people on their Patreon weren't alive then either, or were at least very young. It is kinda interesting, though, how perceptions of the past evolve.
