November's Story Poll (Patreon)

Alright, folks! Since Halfway Broken has been updated, it's time to start the poll for which of the secondary stories gets an update in November. Honestly, I should have put this up yesterday, but it slipped my mind. Now, some things to remember:

1) With the new system, stories that haven't been updated in a while are getting vote boosts. This month, Harry Potter: Pandora's Box is getting a +40% to its votes. Meanwhile, Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams hasn't been updated since January and is thus getting a +80% with its return to the poll this month. A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure won't be getting its first boost until next month, assuming it loses. On the other hand, I'm actually sort of feeling my muse poke at that story. So there's a good chance it will get at least a small update anyway. I'm going to be traveling a bit this month, which actually tends to lead to more writing time rather than less, as there isn't much else to do in hotel rooms. So...very possible something will get a bit of extra this month.

2) A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure has been popular enough it's been added as a permeant part of the poll. This, notably, means I'm going to put off the idea of making yet another possible new story (originally, I'd intended to do two, to introduce new options). Adding more to the already somewhat contentious polling seems like a bad idea. I'll reserve any additional ideas until one story or another is closer to completion. For the curious, My Hero Automata is the closest to such, though it likely still has another 150,000+ words of planned content.

3) As usual, this poll will run through the 25th and will determine which of the 'secondary' short stories will be updated in September. Also remember that this poll is weighted, with very patron getting the dollar value of their patronage in votes. So, the lowest tier that can vote gets 3 votes by default. While higher tiers (or those that up their donation with a custom tier) get additional votes. You CAN vote for more than one story, but your votes will be evenly split between those stories if you do, even if that results in fractional votes! There has been some confusion on this by some people. The $10 tier gets 10 total votes and, though no one has decided to do so yet, you can choose to donate more by creating a custom pledge, getting more votes as a result. If you decided to make a custom pledge for $20, you would get 20 votes. The tiers I provide are only for ease of access, since Patreon, for some unknown reason, decided to fuck over everyone and make it somewhat hard to figure out custom pledges for the average user -_-.

Enel is dead! Long live...wait, who should replace him? Gan Fall hasn't shown up?! Also, what happened to the Shandians, where did Nojiko and Hina fuck off to after their early fight, what about the Golden Bell?! In other words, just because Enel is dead, doesn't mean the crew is done with Skypiea! Also, Luffy has other ideas about where to go now than the canon crew did...

Harry Potter: Pandora's Box

Last time, Harry started a new project...but there was also a field invasion of the Quidditch match by a swarm of giant bees. The school came together to beat back the attack, but where did it come from? What was its intent? And how will everyone react to this new escalation?

Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams

Saren has joined up with both the surviving Geth and the crew of the Normandy. They've gained a lot of intel about the Heretics and this supposed ancient deity they worship, and have managed to sabotage an additional beacon that might have helped Nazara. But is it enough to get the Council to act? And how much are they going to be chewed out for the numerous rules they've just broken?

A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure

2B has begun learning about Pokemon and life alike from Daisy Oak and her grandfather, not to mention getting herself a Pokemon partner in igglybuff...who is now Jigglypuff! See a bit more of her time at the Stables/Ranch, her training with Jigglypuff, and her continued confusion as Diasy Oak tries to get her to act more human! If all goes according to plan, this chapter will wrap up with 2B setting out on her own Pokemon Journey. Still more than a little confused about what it is to be human, but more knowledgeable about the world she'd found herself in, and a stronger desire than ever to protect it!
